They gave a couple GF options but they are terrible. Staff is not friendly and knew anything about gluten. Why have a gluten free bun if the burgers themselves have gluten in them? Ridiculous

After an hour of waiting informed me there was no gluten free dough available. Highly do not recommend this place.

Decent amount of gf options, most of their pizza can be made gf, gf bread/buns available for burgers and sandwiches, the gf Pazookie is great too. Servers aren’t always knowledgeableand you have to access the allergen menu online, which isn’t always easy as the cell reception there is spotty and their WiFi is worthless. I have eaten here many times and always enjoyed it and never gotten sick. I highly recommend it, just do your due diligence in making sure your order is gf.

I have ordered the GF pizza here several times with no issues (I always say it’s for a gluten allergy). The staff has been friendly and take it seriously and are always careful to make the pizza separately on a sheet of parchment paper.

Food came to me cold. Rice had hard pieces in it. Chicken dry and hard difficult to chew.

I like the meals I've had here and it makes me so happy to get the giant gf cookie.
Very good pizza crust, and their pizookie can be made gluten free. SO good. Didnt get sick here, but the service has been slow the past couple of times.
We have been to a BJs before in CA and really liked it so my celiac daughter was excited when we saw this one was near our hotel. Their gf options were very limited here. When I questioned why their online menu had more gf I items she said it must be because of their suppliers that they have less choices at this site. I also asked the waitress to check to make sure the pizza crust and the cookie didn't contain oats because my daughter gets sick with even gf oats. The waitress said no one knew in the kitchen. So I asked for the manager and she actually went into the freezer and got the ingredient list. We also had to wait 30 minutes for the gf cookie. My husband finally went and got the manager to check on it. The manager is the only reason I gave this place more stars. They literally only had about 5 gf items: one salad, one soup, 1 chicken entree, 1 pizza, and 1 dessert. Very different from their online menu.
Limited options and uneducated staff.

Maybe this restaurant would be better in a town without other gf options, but we did not enjoy our experience at all. Being right down the street from Burton's with their endless choices, the small handful of options at BJ's left a lot to be desired. Their labeling system just complicated things. They handed us a brochure with every item marked as far as the top 8 allergens, and then their menu has a gf seal, as well. It took a lot of time switching back and forth between the two, especially being all out of order. We ended up with gf burgers, which are marked in the menu and come with fries. After my husband ate half of the fries, I noticed they were battered. WHY WOULD YOU SEND OUT GLUTEN FRIES WITH A GF BUN??? The manager came to assure me that they didn't bread the fries, only for our waitress to come to him with the cook's information that they are, indeed, breaded.

I celiac. This was my first time to eat at this location but I have eaten at several other locations of this chain and have never had any ill effects. I did not confirm preparation practices before ordering but I should have as this restaurant recently opened and they may not have things exactly as they should. They have a guide to help show what good have the top 8 allergens as well as gluten items marked.I have only eaten pizza and the Gf cookie.I feel like I had a little bit of a reaction but it could have been I ate too much or something else. Unsure if my reaction was cross contamination or not. They brought out a mini appetizer for my son and I was impressed by that. This used to be my favorite place for pizza but after discovering a freezer pizza by Fresecsa (spelling?) nothing is as good as it.This location pizza was not as good as I remember other locations being. I may have picked the wrong topping.I feel like as celiac I have to like stuff for what it is even if it's not as great as I would like.Just glad to have options! Please call ahead and ask questions if you need to be certain of their practices to make sure it is right for you.
Yes
I asked the server about the fries being cooked separately or crossed with other fried foods. He said the fries were cooked separately & “other people are fine” … they are coated in flour. Very uneducated with allergies.

Had their gluten free BBQ chicken flat bread and their GF cheese burger. Blown away! The flat bread didn't taste like gf at all and the bun on the burger was the best I've had in a long time. And!!! It was my birthday and was able to get their pizza cookie!! Soooo delicious. All gf! Best experience.

There is a separate GF menu. The staff is knowledgeable and the person who delivered my meal also has celiac. I have a pepper and potato allergy as well as gluten. A person from the kitchen came out to confirm my order. I felt safe and the food was very good.

I was pleasantly surprised at how well both my waitress and the kitchen staff understood the need to avoid cross-contamination in the kitchen with my food! The food was carefully made under the head cooks guidance, they marked it, and brought it out separately to ensure that nothing would happen to it while preparing other foods. My hamburger was delicious and I even enjoyed the gluten free bun they gave me!
Best of all, I never once got sick from it after we left! I'd go back again!

I went to Bj’s Brewhouse and had the Baja bowl with only vegetables. About 30 minutes after eating I got very ill. I’ve eaten there a few other times, but had pizza or salad. I didn’t get sick any of those times.
