There is a separate GF menu. The staff is knowledgeable and the person who delivered my meal also has celiac. I have a pepper and potato allergy as well as gluten. A person from the kitchen came out to confirm my order. I felt safe and the food was very good.

We’ve been to Nanuet and Teterboro and my teen with celiac has never been sick. This (Nanuet) is where we’ve been a few time a year, but we’ve never had the pizza so I can’t speak to that. My son gets a burger and side like mashed potatoes then a pizooki and still has room for some of my salmon. My whole family likes the food and they have enough variety to please different palates, ages, etc. I wouldn’t give five stars because I reserve that for places where extra/rare items are safe. But for the pizookie and the GF buns I’d give them 4.5 if I could.

Poor experience and poor food. While popular with locals on Saturday night, i don’t understand why. Gf pizza was very expensive and sloppily made - sauce tasted like tomato paste and smeared over the edges. Not safe.

Get the gf pizookie! They only offer 1 and it’s chocolate chip with vanilla ice cream but it’s so good. I’ve never gotten sick!

My 12 year old Daughter received a non gluten free pizoookie even though she ordered a gluten free one. She is very sick right now due to the mistake made by our waiter. All manager could offer to do was take dessert off bill.
Went for lunch and told by the hostess to ask my server for a gluten free menu. Another hostess came back and said "sorry we don't have any. My manager said to use your phone and look on line". I was very disappointed that the manager never came over to address the situation and/or offer any gluten free options. I guess it was not important to them, I will never go back.
I went in because of all the good reviews and probably should have left when the waiter responded to my questions with "That sucks. You are lucky it's still slow." Then, I have had the worst "glutening" of my journey so far. A real bummer.
The Gluten- Free menu was quite expansive! The sirloin steak I got was wonderfully cooked. They also have a cookie-like dessert that's good for Celiacs. Overall wonderful restaurant, very careful with Gluten free food, they make it in separate pans and everything!
Yes
Small gluten free menu. Asked the server about steak sauce and it is gluten free! He was very helpful with gf options
Our waitress was amazing and extremely knowledgeable about GF intolerance and celiac. Lots of options. Kid friendly options too.
Great place. Pizza was very good. Service was great! The GF menu is small but I felt well taken care of.
I enjoyed the gluten free pizza! They need gf burger buns!
New location-just opened. I was super excited because I love BJs brewhouse and have been to BJs before in other locations. Always a fun atmosphere and your friends and family who are able to drink beer will most certainly enjoy their choices on tap. I have always had delicious meals at BJs (before and after going g-free). Since going g-free I have never had any issues at any BJs and have had a variety of meals. Consistency is the key with a chain restaurant, especially with food allergies and celiac- BJs takes that seriously-it was evident as I watched them training the Nanuet staff opening weekend. Good g-free menu, could be bigger, but nice choices. LOVE their berry burst cider. Always have. They also have a g-free beer which I haven't tried yet. Pizza is super thin crust and fantastic-my sister who is not g-free loved my pizza as well. Their menu is clear and the wait staff is very aware of food allergies in general. Only gave it a four because they don't have g-free buns for their burgers, nor do they have a dedicated fryer. Otherwise it'd get a 5 plus. In all honesty I've never had anything other than their pizza and salads even before going g-free because those were so delicious. Go! You won't be disappointed!
Yes
I asked the server about the fries being cooked separately or crossed with other fried foods. He said the fries were cooked separately & “other people are fine” … they are coated in flour. Very uneducated with allergies.

Had their gluten free BBQ chicken flat bread and their GF cheese burger. Blown away! The flat bread didn't taste like gf at all and the bun on the burger was the best I've had in a long time. And!!! It was my birthday and was able to get their pizza cookie!! Soooo delicious. All gf! Best experience.

I was pleasantly surprised at how well both my waitress and the kitchen staff understood the need to avoid cross-contamination in the kitchen with my food! The food was carefully made under the head cooks guidance, they marked it, and brought it out separately to ensure that nothing would happen to it while preparing other foods. My hamburger was delicious and I even enjoyed the gluten free bun they gave me!
Best of all, I never once got sick from it after we left! I'd go back again!

I went to Bj’s Brewhouse and had the Baja bowl with only vegetables. About 30 minutes after eating I got very ill. I’ve eaten there a few other times, but had pizza or salad. I didn’t get sick any of those times.
