This is my go-to chain restaurant if I need to pick up fast food. The kids love the tacos, and we have yet to have any cross-contamination issues in the four years since my son’s diagnosis. Not one accidental gluten incident. Corn tortillas don’t fall apart after the first bite like most corn tortillas which is key for my son. Great option to have in our area.

I wanted to give this restaurant 2 ratings. A one for their gf options but a 5 for quality and service. Their gluten conscious menu is NOT safe They cook chips and tortilla on the same grill as flour. If you ask they will wrap it in foil on the grill with care Also the chicken and beef have gluten Good food but not super safe of gf friendly
Celiacs beware!
Sorry celiacs, Torchy's in NOT gluten free. After eating there several times and the managers saying their food is GF, one manager said absolutely not. I spoke with the VP of operations, and over an hour with their culinary chef in charge of the menu. They cook GF ingredients on the same flat top grill as gluten containing products. They cook chips in the same dryers as flour products. Kitchen designs are too small for seperate prep and dedicated cooking surfaces and fryers. I recommended they change their menu to say gliuten friendly; not gluten free - TBD. Will not eat here until they resolve these issues. Too bad; food is amazing!

Due to the hand crafted nature of our food, variations in our supplier ingredients, and our use of shared cooking and preparation areas, we cannot ensure that our food is free from any allergens. We prepare our foods following procedures to prevent allergen cross-contact, but products containing wheat are made in our kitchens.
Great food. Ate many times and no gluten. Use the GF menu and follow the directions. That means do not order "gluten free..." Order "taco with out ... And with ..." Just as the GF menu says.

While the food is great, I've been glutenated enough times to not go here anymore. If you have real issues with gluten ( not a lifestyle choice ), stay away. If you choose by choice, go eat a green chile pork taco.

best tacos!!!!
Yes
Delicious tacos! Eaten here several times with other celiacs and no one’s gotten sick. They have a separate “gluten conscious” menu.

We attended the soft opening (it officially opens in just a few days on May 15, 2024). They confirmed they have a dedicated gluten free fryer for the chips. We've had luck at other locations with their gluten sensitive menu (avoiding chips at locations that don't have a dedicated fryer) and this one was just the same. They did mention that the potatoes recently changed to hashbrown style and those are not fried in the dedicated fryer, so just be aware of that potential if they don't switch back to diced potatoes.

The app has a lot more diet and allergen information and clear options than ordering in person. Even if you're eating there, you could review it ahead or grab a table and order on your phone, especially if you're avoiding dairy and soy. Those are much harder to identify on the in-store menu.

I got the airstream salad and it was good. There is a risk of cross contamination since it’s a shared kitchen but I didn’t get sick.

Great tacos and guac.! Pork taco on corn tortillas. Delicious! I made a huge mistake and ate the chips without thinking, ( Fried in same oil). But they change out the oil nightly and since we went early for lunch I did not get sick. Yay!!!
