Happy to find a place with freshly made, gluten free hot and cold items. I got the Dino-kale salad which was very fresh and filling. There were also quinoa and rice bowls that looked really good. I gave it 4 stars only because I wasn't a 100% sure the person preparing understood how I was requesting they prepare my food (change gloves, etc).

I took a chance on the Plant Cafe in that it only had two reviews, and I’m so glad I did. My initial plan was to go to Amy’s but that was located in a terminal that would have required going through security again. As it was, I had a long walk from my gate to this place. (It would be nice if the restaurants that cater to food allergies would be more centrally located in the airport. ) There were only a few GF options, but I was able to find something. I had the teriyaki bowl. It was very good and a generous portion. This will definitely be my go-to at SFO in the future.

I’m so glad I found this place after searching around SFO for safe food for so long. I had planned to go to Amy’s but didn’t realize it was behind security in another terminal so I was stuck with less than favorable options in Terminal 2. There are to GF options on the menu —teriyaki bowl and quinoa bowl—cooked to order. I had the teriyaki which tasted really fresh and healthy. Also there are fresh smoothies and juices. One star downgrade because if they offered GF buns there would be so much more selection.

Usually grab some to go items before heading on a flight. No issues. Although the staff seems like they could care less.
Not sure whether it’s celiac-level GF, but it has a number of GF options, including GF cookies on the top shelf of the bakery case.
