I always stay leery of chain restaurants but thought I’d give this a try. I ordered a sirloin with a plain baked potato. I specifically asked for no seasoning on the steak and nothing on the potato to stay safe. Even clarified that I had celiac and asked if they could cook it in a different area. Was assured they would take care of it. When our food came out, I had loaded mashed potatoes on my plate (my husbands side) and my husband got my plain baked. Except it was only plain because they clearly scraped off the cheese and bacon (you could see some left behind). I sent everything back and ended up eating just a baked potato. The manger was very friendly and gave us a gift certificate for two free meals next time we dine there. Which, we likely won’t.

I love Texas Roadhouse, but after being diagnosed with celiac, I’ve gone there 3 times and have gotten sick each time after choosing food strictly from there GF menu, and telling them I had a gluten allergy. Depends how strict you are and how sick you get but I wouldn’t recommend going there unfortunately. So i’m unsure how hard they’re trying to take the necessary precautions or there’s just too much cross contamination.

They have a GF menu. It’s small but they have more that just a few items to choose from unlike most places. I usually have the salmon, veggies and a salad. I dislike that their butter had gluten in it. Because it would allow for more items to be on this list without it. I am satisfied with the overall experience. They were extremely sweet and accommodating. I don’t have celiac but I do have a gluten allergy. I don’t eat anything with gluten in it anymore so I don’t ask for precautionary measures to be taken. That you would have to look more into.
Small GF menu, but my steak and vegetable choice was expertly cooked and delicious. Explained to our server, Brady, that I'm Celiac and he took very good care of me and made sure everything was safe. The manager came by several times, too. If they get more folks coming in who must eat GF perhaps they will increase the number of GF choices they offer.

They have a “gluten-sensitive” menu that has salads with oil and vinegar, sandwiches and hamburgers without buns, and entrees.

They do have a gluten-free menu kind of, I did tell the server that I have a good allergy. Later that night I've never had this much pain in my stomach after eating at a place. I asked them to change their gloves before touching my food and I don't think they did. I would not recommend this location.

Had no issue ordering from the “gluten-friendly” menu. Our server and the manager both worked with us to answer any questions. My daughter had a sirloin and applesauce with no issues. They do not have any GF dressing except for oil and vinegar.

This was probably the best GF meal I’ve ever had at a restaurant! I asked for GF menu, our waitress had one with her. I ordered the Steak Kabob with no rice. Mashed potatoes with no gravy and a side salad with oil and vinegar no croutons. They brought out the salad with a small container of oil and another small container of red wine vinegar so I could add as much or as little as I wanted. I really appreciate that! Then the Kabobs and mashed potatoes came out… absolutely fabulous! I was so shocked. Will be adding Texas Roadhouse to my favorites list ❤
