No no! They are very misinformed - told me everything is GF except the buns and the fried chicken pieces. Ordered the veggie burger and turns out it has farro. I asked the manager about it and she printed the allergy label and says look- only “soy”. However online it looks like soy and gluten. So there’s 100% a labeling problem at this location. I found the ordering process confusing for allergies.

While they are super busy and seemingly rushed, they do ask if the gluten bun is for an allergy or for preference and will mark it as allergy on your ticket. I’d like to think that does something — their gf buns are actually pretty good! I didn’t order fries in case of cross contamination but the burger was safe.

Be careful here! The employees are super rushed and busy, and I definitely feel for them, but it makes it difficult to ask about allergens. I asked if they have an allergen menu, and it took 2 employees about 5 minutes to find one. They looked at it and told me the only things that contain gluten are the buns and some of the shakes. I asked if the fries were gluten free, they said yes, I asked if they had a dedicated fryer, and they said yes. I was surprised, but they seemed confident, so I ordered fries. Right before my order came out, a manager called me over to say that he saw a gluten allergy label, and that the fries were not gluten free because they don’t have a dedicated fryer. I was happy he caught their mistake, but I’m definitely wary for the future! My order now is a shack burger with no shack sauce on a gf bun - a little dry and disappointing, but it’s a cheap gf meal, which can be hard to come by.

Most Shake Shack locations offer gluten-free buns for burgers. A lettuce wrap is also an option.

Gluten allergy stickers were used but didn’t amount to much, girlfriend got glutened and became very unwell on a cross-Atlantic flight. We were told there was a separate fryer for fries but suspect there was not…

I ordered at the kiosk. It wouldn’t read the chips on any of my credit or debit cards. I tried the card that pays by tapping. Still didn’t work. I tried to flag down one of the multiple workers standing around in the back to no avail. I walked out hungry.

Very sensitive to cross contamination and have never had issues here! Wish I could eat the fries (no dedicated fryer) but the burgers are solid.
