My husband has Celiac Disease and is extremely sensitive to cross contamination. Rudy’s was AMAZING! Don’t walk, RUN!! Cody the senior manager and their entire staff were very knowledgeable on what items he could not have and they took all the necessary precautions to make sure there would be no cross contamination. They changed gloves, knives and the board they prepare on. They also assured us that generally there is no contamination on the boards but as an extra precaution they always take out a fresh board. We had the loaded potatoes with the moist brisket and the spicy chop, and a side of coleslaw. Truly amazing experience, don’t skip it my friends give it a try!

Rudy’s is a staple for us! All of the regular meats are gluten free. I always get the jumbo smoked potato with double brisket. It is pretty life changing. I always ask them to change their gloves when prepping it and I’ve never been sick. Hands down one of my favorite places to eat.

The bbq here is mind blowing! I recommend the moist brisket, especially if you're eating low carb. They have breakfast bowls that are gf and last time I checked the rubs on the bbq were gf! I'm happy just eating the meat candy here but there's safe sides also, just be sure to tell them that you're gf because they do handle bread which usually comes with the entree unless you tell them no bread. Staff is knowledgeable.

They don’t have a specific GF menu, but with some common sense this is a great GF safe option. Hold the bread, and be smart. Celiac, very sensitive, I eat here weekly with no reaction or issues. Potato salad good, slaw good, ribs (PR and baby) good, brisket good, hot links good, chicken good.

Don't let the fact that it's a gas station fool you. Amazing food. All the meats are GF. They do safe handling right in front of you, and my celiac son had no reaction. Many of the sides have gluten, but my son had the smoked loaded baked potato. The 18 year old bottomless pit couldn't finish it. They gave him separate small containers of sauce to avoid cross contamination from table bottles.

Great staff and great bbq. Almost all meats were gluten free. The ribs were outstanding. We’ll be back for sure.

The food is good there and they even have gluten free barbecue sauce and it never affected me negatively.. great job on celiac friendly / gluten free

Most of the meats and sauces do not contain gluten! (The pulled pork does contains gluten, so steer clear of that one!) There are also a few sides to choose from that do not contain gluten such as some of the chips, potatoes, and beans. No gluten free bread, so you can’t have the sandwiches. They do have big potatoes you can top with the meat of your choice though! They don’t have a gluten free menu, this info is from the allergen list on their website.

Well worth standing in line. Celiac - did not get glutened. Amazing brisket. Told them celiac and needed to be gluten free. We had a newer employee but another came over and helped and brought out an extra GF/allergy menu. They also changed gloves. Ordered brisket and jalapenos sausage along with cole slaw. Both sauces we used, original and sissy, were gluten free. No GF bread option (and they do not have corn bread on their menu at all). Most meats GF except pulled pork.

Ordered online and called first. The meats and sauces are gf except pulled pork I believe and most the sides except creamed corn and chile stew. Would want to check out the breakfast but the allergen menu lists them all with gluten, maybe they use flour tortillas. Everything was excellent.

I ordered the potato salad and ribs, which should have been okay according to their website allergen menu. I did let the line cook know that I was gluten free but forgot to ask if he changed his gloves. While the food was delicious, I’ve been sick for 24 hours. I might would return but would definitely be more specific in avoiding cross contamination.
