Had a really positive experience here. We ordered take out online, based off of the allergen menu. I completely missed the pulled pork had gluten in it, and had ordered it on the 2 meat baked potato, along with the brisket. I made a note of gluten allergy with my order, and they caught it! Notified us when we came in to pick it up and steered me towards other gluten free options. I am pretty impressed by that and the food tasted great! Saved me from getting sick while traveling and I am so grateful!

Great option. I got the brisket baked potato. They got a new cutting board, changed gloves, and put my meal in a separate basket. Definitely felt safe and didn’t get sick!

Rudy’s is always really helpful for managing dietary restrictions. They take the meat out of the back to cut it if you have cross contamination on the front cutting boards. They were very careful and checked everything. They do have a gluten-free / allergy menu but it’s kind of strange, it tells you what you cannot eat that’s all confusing when you’re trying to order. But most things are gluten-free! I got breakfast and dinner when visiting the area.

I’ve been there twice and they have treated me great. I indicate I have gluten intolerance and they clean up everything, bring out different cutting boards, etc. Be sure to try Rudy’s BBQ sauce. It’s gluten free and tastes great.
Seems most of their smoked meats are gf. We bought sliced meats for takeout that were delicious. My husband watched them carefully to make sure there was no cross contamination as it’s not a gf facility. I’m happy to see this is a chain across the Southwest.

I absolutely LOVE eating at every Rudy’s location we’ve been to. They know what is in their foods, understand allergen cross-contamination issues and just care in general. Ask to see their allergen listing & to use a clean prep/cutting board. They are always happy to be sure you are safe eating there.

Incredible. Told them I had celiac disease and they took great care of me. Amazing service, even better food.

Well worth standing in line. Celiac - did not get glutened. Amazing brisket. Told them celiac and needed to be gluten free. We had a newer employee but another came over and helped and brought out an extra GF/allergy menu. They also changed gloves. Ordered brisket and jalapenos sausage along with cole slaw. Both sauces we used, original and sissy, were gluten free. No GF bread option (and they do not have corn bread on their menu at all). Most meats GF except pulled pork.

Ordered online and called first. The meats and sauces are gf except pulled pork I believe and most the sides except creamed corn and chile stew. Would want to check out the breakfast but the allergen menu lists them all with gluten, maybe they use flour tortillas. Everything was excellent.

I ordered the potato salad and ribs, which should have been okay according to their website allergen menu. I did let the line cook know that I was gluten free but forgot to ask if he changed his gloves. While the food was delicious, I’ve been sick for 24 hours. I might would return but would definitely be more specific in avoiding cross contamination.
