They just added more gluten free items like Kung pow chicken. I also like their brown rice is actually better than white rice. They cook gf items in separate pans. I have eaten here 4x in past month with no issues.
Yes
I've been getting take-out at this location for a while, but today my GF meal and my daughter's non-GF meal were switched and labeled incorrectly. Both were put up side by side, unlabeled. The manager asked which one was gf so he could label the lid, there seemed to be some confusion, and then they labeled the wrong one as gf (not sure they even looked at the ticket). I understand that mistakes happen, but when I asked the manager to re-make the gf meal (since the chicken in both looked identical and we couldn't tell for sure), he seemed confused. I tried to explain to him that gluten makes some people sick so I couldn't just hope it was gf. He then offered to make another one but I felt uncomfortable that they knew what they were doing. I probably shouldn't have ordered gf and non-gf together, and they were very busy, but it makes me nervous to go back for now.

Love, love, love the g free SPICY CHICKEN!
Eat here all the time. Great place to get something quick!
I go here frequently, sometimes once a month and have never had issues. I enjoy the original chicken the most. Never had issues getting sick even when they are busy. They take proper precautions
Update May 2024. Continue to go here and never an issue. They have a more expanded gf menu than they used to. I have dined in and ordered online to go without issues

Ordered gf fried rice and gf pad Tai noodles. Was a lot of food, delicious flavors. No issues next day, highly recommend. They were attentive to my allergy.

So, I couldn’t find anything to verify this, but the staff at the airport location said that everything on their menu is gluten free - made with corn flour, there isn’t any gluten on site. This isn’t clear from their posted menu, which notes specific things are gluten free (implying that others that aren’t marked are not). And it’s also not clear when you find the Pei Wei website and the same menu items are not marked gluten free. But I did eat one of the things not marked gluten free (because they were out of the thing I wanted that was) and did not have any symptoms afterwards.

Not a fan- didn’t look like woks were being switched in-between dishes. Not sure how or why some things are GF and others are not when ingreds are similar- made no sense - too saucy!
