I’m very sensitive to cross contamination, and I had eaten here safely many times. The chef did warn me that they had previously had issues where the person who prepared salads would use the salad mixing bowl on gluten free salads and cross contaminate them, so I only ordered a salad once (when they told me that and I knew the person working was aware about not cross contaminating the salad). Usually, I bought the pasta and was always safe. However, the last time I ate here (and ordered pasta), I got cross contaminated and was very, very ill. Even though I previously had many good experiences eating here, I got so sick that I haven’t returned since and don’t know if I will go back! I’m sad because it was some of the best pasta I’ve ever had, and it was a nice, quick, easy meal!

My husband and I visited this restaurant after finding it on this site. This is a complicated review because the food itself was good but the facility was a little sad (It’s a very small takeout type of restaurant with a few tables, Not what we were expecting.) and there is not even a sniff of ambiance and the music was annoying. Speaking of sniffs, it smelled horrible. We are pretty sure there was an issue with the floor drains. We were not greeted at all. When the order taker did appear, I explained about finding this place on my FMGF app and told her I wanted a salad with no croutons due to Celiac and the Creamy Chicken Scampi with the Gluten Free Penne. My husband ordered the Chicken Rockerfella and requested penne pasta and was told that it normally was made with fettuccine. He said okay but we were super confused as we were told you pick your sauce and then your pasta. However, for whatever reason, this made me question her if she noted mine as the GF penne. She said no! She fixed it but I was flabbergasted that she seemed clueless to the seriousness of that mistake. I did see her explain it to the cook however and our food came out in plastic “to go” containers and mine was marked gluten free. We spent $44 on 2 plates of pasta with chicken and a shared salad. The entree comes with nothing. You must order everything separately. We felt it was a bit pricey for what we got but we had enough to eat. As stated before, the pasta was good but our advice is to take out only.

Call in your order at peak times. When busy, we waited about 35 -40 min for our food. But food was worth the wait.
Amazing food. We have eaten there at least 1-2 times a month (for several years) and have never gotten sick. All sauces gf, but call ahead to make sure they have gf pasta. They’ve only run out a couple of times, and they’ll cook more and let you know how long it will be!
My daughter’s gluteny garlic bread is always bagged separately, and they mark all the gf containers.

So happy to be here! Looks too small to have anything safe for celiac, and we started walking out. The owner talked to us and guaranteed that everything would be safe, even recommending safe alternatives. Food is delicious, and they are very knowledgeable and accommodating! Will certainly be back!

Delicious meal! There were so many options it was hard to decide. All the sauces are GF so you can pretty much order anything on the menu except for bread and meatballs. After reading the last review I wanted to be extra careful so I made sure to ask if they use fresh water for the gf pasta. The guy looked at me kind of strange and said "It would make ordering gf pointless if we didn't " Yes guy I'm aware it was a dumb question. Just playing it extra safe. Food was so good. Can't wait to go back. My reactions are usually delayed so if I do end up sick I will update.

Ordered gluten free pasta with carbonara. Not sure if my pasta was made in the regular water or something else happened but it set off a reaction and I was violently ill for an hour.

This places was not what I expected it to be. The website and store front have two different vibes. This is a place for casual eating or takeout. They don’t have a ton of seating. The food was excellent. The GF pene is the pasta option. All sauces and proteins are GF. A super hot fresh bowl of pasta hit the spot. So much flavor.

We had seen the sign for this place when passing by, but had not tried it until recently. Such regret now! Sooooo good! It is like a weekly thing for us now. My husband has celiac and he eats here without any problems. The owner says he has quite a few celiacs that come in a lot. It is a bare bones restaurant (and BYOB), choose your noodle and then choose your sauce place. The only gluten free pasta option is the penne, so if you really, really want a spaghetti noodle, you are out of luck. Get over it, though, because all of the sauces are gluten free and all are fantastic! My husband’s favorite is the bolognese. My favorite is the carbonara with added blackened chicken.
Yes
I wish I could give this zero stars. This restaurant is NOT Celiac friendly. I went to Tennessee during the hurricane Irma evacuation, and was pleased to find Franklin and the surrounding areas had a plethora of safe places for me to eat. I checked all the reviews and only ate at celiac friendly places.
I went to Pasta & Cream and ordered my gluten free bowl of pasta, and when they brought it out, it was linguine. CLEARLY, I knew this wasn't gluten free because they only had gluten free penne.
When the server took it back, I heard the chef start complaining about it and he said "It ain't gonna hurt her." I should have run...
They came back with penne and the server assured me it was safe.
I'd like everyone to know that I had the worst gluten reaction of my life, and I've been diagnosed celiac for over 5 yrs. Twenty minutes after eating it, I was sick from both ends so severely that I was vomiting blood, passed out and the ambulance had to be called. This is a BAD place for celiacs, PLEASE do not go there. I know it wasn't food poisoning because my husband ate out of my bowl (he's not celiac or gluten sensitive) and he was fine. I realize my reactions to gluten are more severe than some, but they clearly do not have safe practices for celiacs here.
No
I ate here a few times and was fine but I'm changing my rating unfortunately because I got glutened awful here. I'm pretty sure they made the gluten free pasta in the same water as regular or something. The owner was busy so another employee took our order and didn't seem to know about the gf options even when I double specified I had celiac. I didn't think anything of it cause usually they are good about cross contamination but by the time we got home I was violently ill and had to miss a very important event that day because I couldn't leave the house. Not sure if I will be going back after that.

Awesome!!! Friendly service and great food.
Great pasta restaurant!! I'm gluten sensitive and the staff took time to ensure I understood cooking preparations and options. The rest of my family enjoyed it as well.
Been here several times, won't be going back. On my last visit, they made my pasta with meatballs instead of chicken. I took it up to the counter to ask for my order to be corrected. Instead of making a new dish, they took the meatballs off and replaced it with the chicken. I then asked the owner if the pasta was the same as before (meatballs contained gluten, big cross contamination). He told me that it was fine and I wouldn't get sick because he knows all about celiac. Extremely rude and then tried to lie about the whole situation. Also, owner said he doesn't know if salad dressings contain gluten, but he bases his business around serving gluten free food. Stay away if you are sensitive to gluten, owner doesn't care at all if food makes you sick- he even rolled his eyes at me when I asked about cross contamination.

Excellent sauces. Had GF pasta. Did not get sick!
In Franklin for a conference. tried this place based on this app. the food was great and was made while we waited. the gluten free pasta is penned only. I had the vegetarian and added chicken to get the veggies. It has either garlic and oil or marinara. I had the oil and it was great, not heavy. Would like to try cream based.

The gluten free pasta was wonderful, all the sauces are gluten free, the staff was quick to point out any non-gf items, and each meal is prepared separately so there were no cross-contamination worries. Very kid friendly too!

The food was excellent, and prepared fast even though it is freshly cooked for your order. Please check this place out it was very good experience. The staff was beyond friendly as I expressed my concern that it had to be gluten free. 10/10

Every sauce is gluten free, tons of options. But I have to say that was The Best Alfredo sauce I've ever had! Each meal is freshly made while you wait. Highly recommend this place!
I was out with my friend who has celiac, and it was just so nice to see her be able to choose ANYTHING from the menu with confidence that she would not get I'll. The Cajun shrimp was creamy and perfectly spiced. The Ivan blackened chicken was delicious!

Had a great meal here a couple of weeks back. I went after seeing it listed on this app and I felt like I needed to go try it. Eating pasta at a restaurant? Crazy talk, but sure lets try it out! I was a little nervous because we were going here for lunch before heading into franklin to shop and wander for the day. God knows when you're out walking around in a small town, the last thing you want is stomach trouble, but the reviews convinced me. I believe it was the owner who was there. He cooked for us and was super knowledgable. He was great and friendly and cooked our food for us fresh to order. I got the Alfredo and my boyfriend got the red sauce. Both dishes were tasty, maybe a little salty for my liking, but still really good. Plus I enjoy the novelty of eating a bowl of pasta outside of my own home enough that I will go back! It was really good. I was out and walking around the franklin shops and then that galleria mall for hours and felt just fine. I was so glad!

The owner was great. And all of their sauces are gluten free and absolutely delicious.
Right off of I-65, if you are traveling south of Nashville. Next to Dollar General behind McDonalds.
Amazing freshly made gluten free pasta. Fast service, reasonable prices. Wish there was a restaurant like this in Murray, KY. I think the owners have really found a niche (or bigger ) market. But also serve really tasty, well prepared food, gluten free or not.
