MOD Pizza

I love the cauliflower pizza. I don’t have celiac but I’m very sensitive to gluten. Love the salads with no croutons too. So fresh and flavorful.

They really can't support someone with celiac here. We have had great experiences at all other Mod's but they didn't understand at all at this site. When I walked in, they changed gloves and we discussed how the crust cannot touch the screen or other areas that have had gluten crusts. They cooked the pizza on the stone with nothing under it and then were pretty short with me when I said it was not gluten free it didn't help that I got an eye roll as well.

While I'm glad they have a gluten free option, there's a lot of cross contamination happening so I decided to stick with a salad. They use the spoon for the sauce to rub it into the crusts (gluten free and gluten full), and use the same rolling tool to spread the crust out a bit on the pan. The pizza looked good, and I like the concept, but too risky for my comfort.

Celiac friendly?

No

Build your own pizza. There is a chance for cross contamination, but I have never gotten sick. The workers will change gloves, get a clean pizza pan, use a clean cutter, etc., if you ask them to. Delicious!

In general,mod is good for me. I went while it was really slow. They double checked who got what since my partner got something with gluten.

So happy there is a MOD in the Gorge finally!! The offer gluten friendly crust and also a cauliflower crust. All the toppings are gluten free. The staff changed their gloves without even being asked ❤ Thank you!!!

They have gluten free crust which is good if you are only sensitive to gluten, if your celiac such as myself stay far away from this place, you are 100% guaranteed to have cross contamination!!!! They use shared prep station, and oven not safe at all !!!!
