MOD Pizza

While we have eaten at Mod safely before, it is no longer safe. We asked for a full refund refund because we couldn’t eat what they prepared. They did refund our money without argument but no apology.

We had to tell them to use red sauce from the squeeze bottle. She replied, “I’ve never done that before.”

When the pizzas went in the fire oven, the pizzas were taken off the metal tray and set directly on the oven’s surface where all pizzas touch. We asked why the tray wasn’t used and the response was, “oh we can’t do that man. We have never done that before because we can’t put the metal in the oven.”

This was about 16 months ago - They cook it in the same oven with the other pizzas. A regular pizza was next to mine. They didn’t change gloves and seemed annoyed when asked. It tasted fine but I got very ill from it.

They have a “gluten friendly” pizza aka not celiac safe because it goes into the same oven. They do change their gloves and have a new tray for the pizza. They pizza is good and filling. I enjoyed it.

In general,mod is good for me. I went while it was really slow. They double checked who got what since my partner got something with gluten.

So happy there is a MOD in the Gorge finally!! The offer gluten friendly crust and also a cauliflower crust. All the toppings are gluten free. The staff changed their gloves without even being asked ❤ Thank you!!!

They have gluten free crust which is good if you are only sensitive to gluten, if your celiac such as myself stay far away from this place, you are 100% guaranteed to have cross contamination!!!! They use shared prep station, and oven not safe at all !!!!
