In town for work and stopped here to get a sandwich for lunch. I was told there is a separate toaster for gluten free bread, gloves are changed, and one person handles the order. You do have to tell them it’s an allergy and not a preference. I got the farm club and it was delicious.

I’ve always enjoyed Mendocino Farm’s food even before Celiac disease. It’s so fresh and full of flavor. They carefully noted that I had an allergy. Each meal came in a separate bag. One of my favorite stops for a quick AND healthy meal.

It's a nice place and the staff try their best to accommodate but NOT SAFE FOR CELIACS.

super good gluten free bread for yummy sandwiches and plenty of salad options. Bustling eatery in a cute location. Recommended if you want to feel like a normal sandwich eater. :)
very disappointed, it is not gluten-free, they share all equipment with gluten containing foods.
One of the most delicious sandwiches I've ever eaten and creative flavorful salads. I ordered the Steak BLT sandwich and the Quinoa Beet salad. Both items were outstanding. I'll come back many times. They have many clearly marked GF items on menu and offer very good GF bread for the sandwiches. If you let them know you have celiac or an allergy, they handle your food with care and make it separately in GF zone.
The menu has many items marked GF and others that can be tailored to avoid gluten. I also got a bag of GF BBQ chips! No ill effects today.

Ordered a sandwich on gluten free bread and asked the cashier to note a gluten allergy (I know it’s not an allergy).
She did and then went on to explain to me their procedure with a dedicated toaster for the gluten free bread. And warned me that it tastes so good you will think it wasn’t gluten free but it is.
She was right! That was the beast sandwich I have had since my diagnosis and I wanted to cry tears of joy while I ate my sandwich.
It was a little pricey but 100% worth it!
I grabbed a bag of Dill Pickle chips because yum! And certified GF. Bonus! They have soups and salads sides with gluten free options as well.

Have eaten here twice in the past 3 weeks. Staff is great and takes gluten free seriously. My child enjoyed the sandwiches and had no issues.

The food is excellent; tasty sandwiches and salads. They have multiple gluten free options and can prepare items celiac-safe.
If you order a gluten free sandwich they do not cut it. They bring you a clean knife so that you can cut it yourself, assured that no cross-contaminated cutlery was used on it.
You order at the counter and they bring the food to your table.
