The waitress said they prepare the pizza separately but it's cooked in the same oven. She then proceeds to bring out my gf pizza sitting between my family's regular pizza. Not only that, it took nearly 1 hour (54 minutes to be exact) to get this food out on a Tuesday afternoon. There was maybe 6 tables total in the restaurant.

My son had the gluten free Meaty pizza. Told the waitress about his Celiac and she knew exactly what we were talking about. Explained how they prep and cook the pizza to us so we were comfort. He loved it! She said any of their pizzas can be made gluten free.

Mellow mushroom is a weekly stop for us! Never had a reaction. Staff super knowledgeable! We love pizza and wings and salad!!!

our waiter was super helpful and knew exactly what i meant as soon as i said celiac. they offered any of the specialty free pizzas — i had two, they were both delicious. best thing is their gf crust is also grain free! bc of my grain sensitivities i haven’t been able to eat out for pizza in forever, so i was very happy

Delicious gluten free pizza! I was nervous to order a pizza from a chain but it tested clean on my NIMA. Best pizza I’ve had since going gluten free and this location is beautiful!

I got sick :/ The other reviews here are good, so I think I just got unlucky. Unfortunately, it is a risk you take when eating at non dedicated facilities.

The menu has a weird tag at the bottom regarding GF: it says any pizza can be made with a GF crust, but only 4 pizzas can be made with their “Gluten Free process.” I asked my server to check with the kitchen regarding the shiitake mushroom pizza, which is what I wanted but was not one of the 4 listed. She came back and said I’d be good to go, and when they brought my pizza they announced it as being gluten free and everything.

I probably won’t go back, since Brixx has amazing GF pizzas that have never let me down, but I think I just got unlucky, compared to the other good reviews here. Just have to weigh your options and be careful!

After watching my family eat at a nearby restaurant (watching because I couldn’t eat anything safely there)- I was starving and sad! I spotted mellow mushroom down the street and was DELIGHTED to order a GF pizza to go and know they take care with allergies there! An easy dining out experience for someone with a gluten issue- pizza is good- made me happy!

I thought they were very accommodating with my celiacs disease requests. i am also vegan and they have vegan cheese available. they only have gluten free pizzas in personal sizes, but overall it tasted good. the best part is i didn’t get sick, so they’re good about cross contamination

The crust is not the same as it used to be. Not as good. Now it’s more like a store bought crust.

GF crust is really good! I’ve never gotten sick after eating it.

Pizza alone is a five. Great crust and don't get sick! Service is okay.

If you tell them you have allergies they are very careful about it. I have never once ordered a salad without croutons and gotten croutons on the salad. They use the smartflour dough on the gf pizzas. They sell smartflour frozen pizzas at whole foods also. Very good about not cross contaminating

We ate their on the Fourth of July during a family trip. The atmosphere was not as nice as the location in Charlotte, NC. My pizza was good, but my step mom and my husband did not enjoy their calzone as much as my stepmom enjoyed the one she had in Charlotte. The food was good, but we won't be stopping at this location again.

They offer GF pizza but do not take precautions in the kitchen.

Got their mushroom truffle pizza GF. They take extra precaution to cook GF pizza. It was delicious. We also had the spinach dip app by substituting the bread for veggies. Overall great options and felt fine after eating.

The server was very careful with listening to my food allergies. He confirmed food is cooked in a separate oven and that they take precautions to avoid cross-contamination. The pizza was very good! Felt great afterwards as well 🙂
