The food is incredible. Very tasty. I tried it for the first time a month ago and liked it so much, went back a week later. I don’t remember if the menu was clearly marked with GF next to item. But I did ask the server and he was very knowledgeable and was a big help. However my allergy is mild so a little cross contamination doesn’t make me sick.
Ordered delivery and the order was wrong, what they sent was not what we ordered. Called to get it fixed and they said there's nothing they can do about it because they're closed. Now it's too late to order anything else that would be celiac safe. Ruined my night!

Fantastic experience! A bit pricey, but will eat here again.
Our waiter knew about GF options, but was not aware about their fryer. He graciously got the manager to answer my questions. Manager was aware of cross contam.
Menu is almost entirely gluten free--including all their sauces. It is clearly marked with a wheat symbol for items that contain wheat. (They're mostly burritos.)
BEWARE 1: there is NO dedicated fryer for chips, but flautas are fried in a different (separate) fryer. Manager verified. She did not explicitly state no glutenous items were fried in this separate fryer, but she definitely stated glutenous items are fried in the chip fryer. I bet it has to do with the size of the fryer (chips fried often; flautas not often, but maybe they're keeping fried meats separate--pure speculation).
BEWARE 2: Photo attached. I am going to leave feedback with the store, but after the manager left, we noticed that the "Brunch" area of the menu had no wheat symbols, but "flour tortillas" and pancakes were clearly listed.

Tried this place for the first time this past weekend. Our server was knowledgeable about gluten/allergies and confirmed for me that almost everything on the menu was safe, unless it was marked with a wheat symbol. Unfortunately, their chips are not gf though due to the use of a shared fryer. I was surprised by this, because they seem to be so gluten friendly. Overall, lots of options to choose from and I didn’t get sick from my meal. It was so nice to have cheese enchiladas again! Will definitely be back the next time I have a Tex Mex craving.

The food is fabulous, but I am really bothered with not being able to eat the chips at a Mexican restaurant. To me, that’s half the fun of eating there is enjoying chips and salsa prior to the meal arriving! When we ate there this week, the server told me that since the chips are fried in a shared fryer with the desserts that contain gluten, they are not considered safe for allergy or celiac. :( bummer!

Very gluten-free friendly! Menu has no gluten, can be made gluten-free on request or has gluten. More old style tex mex

Their fajitas are amazing. Queso was lacking. I say skip it. Most items are gf, so you can feel confident ordering. If you tell them you’ve never been there before they’ll bring you a sample of their fajitas. Just make sure to mention they need to be gf right away.

A Mexican restaurant that understands about Celiac disease. Their menu is marked with the items that gluten cannot be removed. All other items do not contain gluten. They are very aware and it’s a safe place to go and not worry about getting ill!

I was excited reading another review that said Lupe's chips were cooked in a dedicated fryer and almost dove into the basket on our table. Thankfully I waited and the waitress confirmed NOT a dedicated fryer at this location. She did offer baked tortillas that would take 15-20 minutes.
