We took the VIP tour at Universal and lunch was included at Margaritaville. The server was knowledgable and told they had a dedicated frier (always a win) and they could accommodate most of the plates. My daughter had a cheese burgers with fries and really liked it. They also offered salmon, chicken and steak.

We were the first and only customers in the restaurant for lunch, I clearly stated my allergies, ordered a meal marked gluten friendly, and then they brought out chicken that was over cooked and clearly tasted like fried food (maybe pan fried in old oil instead of “grilled”). Then was assured the chef would be consulted (why was this not done the first time?) and I waited 45 min before they brought my food. My family’s meals were not allergy but were also messed up. The manager did comp our meal and apologized and said she’d sit down and discuss the issue with the chef. That was good business practice but too late for me —I will never eat here again and it ruined part of a vacation day.

My family came here for lunch the day before we had park tickets. We were very hungry and waiting to be able to check into our hotel room. It was dead inside. I was skeptical that they could accommodate my gluten-free needs based on some reviews I read, but I took a chance and I'm happy I did! I don't understand why they don't advertise that they have gluten-free buns! I had a cheeseburger on a gf bun, my husband had a sandwich and my boys got fried shrimp and chicken tenders to split. Our waitress and the servers were good & it's a cool place. The food was yummy.

I felt very safe! Our waitress was amazing and the kitchen staff were very aware of celiac and cross contamination and made our experience fantastic. Three with celiac in our group and it was great. The food was great, too!

Vary few GF options, no dedicated fryers
No
The staff double checked everything for me. I would recommend following what the menu says NOT online because some of their items they listed on the website were not GF at the restaurant.
I ended up getting the tortilla soup with a side of rice and beans. A+ on soup, C+ on the sides. Margarita was great.
Yes
One choice of starter.... guac and chips. That was nice nice. Two choices of main course. I got the salmon and rice and black beans. The rice was microwave rice standard and the salmon must have been cooked for an hour. Completely dry and practically tasteless. So little choice and not good quality food at all.
Celiac friendly. I had the impossible burger on a gluten free bun and fries. They have a dedicated fryer for fries. Neat that they have vegetarian and vegan options that are also gluten free.
Yes
Gluten free bun was good. Cheeseburger in paradise on a gluten free bun!
Yes
I ordered nachos because of a review I read here even though it was not marked as Gluten Free. They prepared it with shredded cheese instead of queso, it was delicious and I didn’t got sick.
Our waitress was very knowledgeable. They only have two entrees listed as gluten free on the menu but they have gluten free buns and a dedicated fryer for the fries. The chef modified the taco salad for me and the waitress said they can modify most dishes.
Yes
Staff is knowledgeable and cares. Just be specific about cross contamination being an issue as some of the gf items on the menu are cross contaminated.
Yes
The staff is very knowledgeable about gluten allergies. The menu has a little gf next to it if the item is gluten free. All burgers can be made gf with a gf bun and fries are good as well!! Best burger place ever!!
Yes
nachos and margaritas....Gregory made sure everything was perfect in my drink because i had no reaction.

Great Gluten free menu and attentative staffI had the ribs, prepared Gluten Free, with fries and cold slaw. Another had the Salmon (also gluten free). No illness an we had a great time. Total cost about $30 each for meal and drinks.
Yes
Decent food, normal gluten free bun that crumbles and falls apart. Staff and manager were knowledgeable about gluten free and assured me that the fries are fried in a separate fryer and are GF. Recommend for the experience, but the food was okay. VERY sensitive celiac, and I didn’t get sick at all.

Good food, great atmosphere! Gluten free options & substitutes are marked on their menu. Dedicated fryer for their fries. Dined in twice during our stay in Key West, no problems & didn’t get sick. Will be coming back

The food here is really good. Dedicated fryer for the fries. The Cheeseburger in Paradise works with the gluten free bun, BUT the bun is really crumbly.
We returned for a second visit and were informed by the waiter that the menu was not correct. It under-identified items that were gluten-free. Among the additions the nachos (with chicken instead of chili; several salads, the grilled chicken sandwich; and, the brownie sundae). It was an amazing experience.

BEWARE! I got glutened and I asked the server to communicate my need and ordered a labeled item. Bun was GF but either that or the fries was not okay. Had symptoms before I got home.

We got there about 3pm, but still waited for a table for 8 people. Our server was nice. Gluten free items were marked on the menu, but there weren't many choices besides salad and burgers. I got the volcano nachos and a side of fries because they had a separate fryer. I asked if the chili on the nachos was gluten free, and the server said it was. The nachos were tasty, but huge, and the fries were perfect. Nothing was marked from the kitchen, so I had to confirm with the food runner that my fries were gluten free. Made me nervous, but I didn't have any reactions.
