I’ve been here dozens of times. Never had a reaction and I am extremely sensitive. Always order protein style plain. Allergy to gluten. I also ask for an allergy alert on my fries. I get packets of ketchup and spread to prevent cross-contamination. They will also bag allergy alert orders separate if you have multiple people you are ordering with.

Went to the chandler location. When I told them I had a gluten allergy they noted it on the order. They told me that when they note it only the GF items are available to them to add to your order. They called out gluten allergy to the line so they were aware. Put my food in a separate container. Food was delicious. Got a cheeseburger animal style protein style and fries!

Order "protein style" to get it wrapped in lettuce
Ordered at the counter inside (on a busy Saturday afternoon). Got a protein style burger and french fries, and told the cashier I had a gluten allergy. The manager made my order, I saw her put on new gloves, take out a separate tray to prepare on, and place my food in a small bag separate from the rest of my party’s order. I would feel comfortable coming through the drive thru next time as they clearly have a protocol.

Lots of issues ordering and still ended up being given a burger on a bun.
No
Delicious burgers as usual and great with handling allergies! If you mention a gluten allergy they know to prep your food separately and the protein style lettuce wrap is the best I’ve had at any other burger joint. Pro tip - ask for well done or extra well fries, they’re super crunchy!!
Yes
Protein style burger and fries are all safe for celiacs! :)

Major fail! The person talking our order explained the protocols that were in place to keep my fries gf. As I watched the workers prepare our order, I realized none of the steps that none of the steps were being taken. I questioned the employee who handed us our food, and she had a different answer than what I was given when ordering. As we were discussing this, I happened to look down at our order. My "gf/allergy" fries were in the same bag as my husband's half-wrapped burger.

Be careful ordering here. I have witnessed them use the same knife to spread ‘spread’ on buns and then on my gluten allergy marked animal fries. My go to order here is Flying Dutchman and a fry, with spread packets on the side and haven’t been sick ordering this way.

🌾🚫 Gluten Free Items: Protein style (wrapped in lettuce) cheeseburgers and double doubles. Fries and shakes are also gluten free!
✴ Prior to ordering, let them know you have a gluten free order. I usually tell them
“gluten allergy” and they put an allergy alert on the order as well as a verbal notification to the back. If you don’t mention “allergy” you’re subject to cross contamination.
They will cook the patty on a new and/or cleaned surface to avoid cross contamination. When any gluten free or other allergy order is made, they will note it on your order and also verbally tell the kitchen.
🐶 In-N-Out locations have outdoor seating that are dog friendly. Unsalted and plain “Pup Patties” are available for $1.05 each!
