I LOVE IN AND OUT! All though you are not in the door and then get your order instantly then you are out. Their fries, vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry milkshakes are gluten free. If you want a burger you have to sub out the bun for a lettuce wrap. I’m a kid and this is what I do at most burger joints. Have fun and eat safe! -Ivy Montegut, the celiac kid.

I've eaten here for years with no problem. Just get the burger protein style. They only fry fries in the fryer.

My go to for fast food! Yes they only offer a lettuce wrap but its still just as good! Fries are safe and so are the milk shakes!!! Yum!
Yes
They do NOT have gluten free buns (offer salad rapped burgers)
no GF buns, but they confirmed the fries and shakes were gluten-free and bent over backwards trying to find something I could eat with corn allergies (and beef and onion allergies too... I'm real fun at parties). My GF / likely some celiac kids were able to eat a full meal (lettuce wraps burgers, fries, shakes) and I got fries with no salt with a side of lettuce and a side of tomato. That may not sound impressive to you, but it's such a relief to eat safe fast food at all and share a "traditional" American meal with my family in any form.
They flagged the food as needing gluten care, verified ingredients, and were incredibly patient with celiac plus.
Always love in and out. Separate grill for gluten free as long as you ask. I always get animal style which means no bun. I also just get meat and cheese and lettuce and avoid other toppings. Fries dedicated frier. Chocolate shakes super yummy.

Protein style burger and fries are all safe for celiacs! :)

Major fail! The person talking our order explained the protocols that were in place to keep my fries gf. As I watched the workers prepare our order, I realized none of the steps that none of the steps were being taken. I questioned the employee who handed us our food, and she had a different answer than what I was given when ordering. As we were discussing this, I happened to look down at our order. My "gf/allergy" fries were in the same bag as my husband's half-wrapped burger.

Be careful ordering here. I have witnessed them use the same knife to spread ‘spread’ on buns and then on my gluten allergy marked animal fries. My go to order here is Flying Dutchman and a fry, with spread packets on the side and haven’t been sick ordering this way.

πΎπ« Gluten Free Items: Protein style (wrapped in lettuce) cheeseburgers and double doubles. Fries and shakes are also gluten free!
β΄ Prior to ordering, let them know you have a gluten free order. I usually tell them
“gluten allergy” and they put an allergy alert on the order as well as a verbal notification to the back. If you don’t mention “allergy” you’re subject to cross contamination.
They will cook the patty on a new and/or cleaned surface to avoid cross contamination. When any gluten free or other allergy order is made, they will note it on your order and also verbally tell the kitchen.
πΆ In-N-Out locations have outdoor seating that are dog friendly. Unsalted and plain “Pup Patties” are available for $1.05 each!
