Loved it here. They took everything so seriously and felt perfectly fine after eating here. The receipt marks your order as "Gluten Allergy" and the staff has the protocol down (changing gloves, etc.). I always order protein style and no sauce (because of cc) and then ask for the sauce in packets when I'm grabbing my order. Shakes and fries are gluten free and yummy too :)

Best fast food chain allergy protocol!! Order "Protein Style” burger (lettuce wrap) or “Flying Dutchman” (no bun/wrap) & let them know you have a gluten/dairy/ etc allergy! They'll take care of the rest: glove change, separate grill, work station, supplies. Fries are also GF. If you order within a group, they bag the allergy order separately than the rest. But you definitely have to say "allergy" ordering it lettuce wrap is not enough to let them know.

I told them I had a gluten allergy and they made sure to mark my whole order. Got a lettuce wrapped burger, no onions, and fries.

Order "protein style" to get it wrapped in lettuce
Sometimes they take it very seriously but sometimes they scoff at you and say rude things about your allergy

I’ve eaten here, the restaurant by Valley Fair Mall, several times with no problems. I get the lettuce wrap burger

There's a designated fryer for the French fries, nothing else is fried here. I have not had any issues with their protein burger, animal style!

I normally love their food but when I went in Friday I guess somehow someone along the line still cross-contaminated cuz my hubs got really sick after I brought him home a burger 😝
I asked them to bag my protein style burger separate, but they didn't.
No
They are not actually celiac friendly. They toast the Buns on the same grill that they cook the meat on and use the same spatulas to handle both burgers and buns. They don't wipe the counters off in between burgers so it's getting cross contamination all the way across the line. been there 4 times, gotten sick 3. will not be doing that again

Got double double with no cheese, protein-style and the cashier asked if I had an allergy, and she noted it down and notified the manager as well. No issues!
This is a wonderful place to get a burger as a Celiac for two main reasons. First, they have such a simple menu and only use their fryers for fries, so there is little opportunity for errors or cross contamination during the preparation. Second, the staff I have encountered there is knowledgeable about gluten sensitivities so they are extra careful. Just order the burger as protein style and tell them you have an allergy and they will take care of you. One of the few places I trust to get a quick burger.

Major fail! The person talking our order explained the protocols that were in place to keep my fries gf. As I watched the workers prepare our order, I realized none of the steps that none of the steps were being taken. I questioned the employee who handed us our food, and she had a different answer than what I was given when ordering. As we were discussing this, I happened to look down at our order. My "gf/allergy" fries were in the same bag as my husband's half-wrapped burger.

Be careful ordering here. I have witnessed them use the same knife to spread ‘spread’ on buns and then on my gluten allergy marked animal fries. My go to order here is Flying Dutchman and a fry, with spread packets on the side and haven’t been sick ordering this way.

🌾🚫 Gluten Free Items: Protein style (wrapped in lettuce) cheeseburgers and double doubles. Fries and shakes are also gluten free!
✴ Prior to ordering, let them know you have a gluten free order. I usually tell them
“gluten allergy” and they put an allergy alert on the order as well as a verbal notification to the back. If you don’t mention “allergy” you’re subject to cross contamination.
They will cook the patty on a new and/or cleaned surface to avoid cross contamination. When any gluten free or other allergy order is made, they will note it on your order and also verbally tell the kitchen.
🐶 In-N-Out locations have outdoor seating that are dog friendly. Unsalted and plain “Pup Patties” are available for $1.05 each!
