So despite the earlier review I happen to like the Tum Puu salads lol. Yes they are funky and a little weird compared to American food put that's what it is supposed to be (the menu literally says a tad of funk or extra funky(). And they are gluten free, I've eaten it many times and have not gotten sick.
I've also had their stir fry options a few times, which were all good. They just opened a bar inside as well with interesting cocktails, so try one of those. Appetizer options are lacking.
Service has always been fine for me, nothing outstanding but nothing dismal.

My partner and I went here and unfortunately ordered the same kind of dish (apparently the papaya salad -- we went off the online menu, which wasnt very descriptive and we thought it was noodles). Either way, Im down for a salad, but it was virtually inedible (I ate 2 bites and thought I was going to puke--it also smelled like something died/was from a trash can). My partners was a little more bearable but felt we still got bites with not great tastes that we called it early. The coffee was tasty though.
The waitress was also not friendly. She said shed go in the back to check with the chef on how gf safe it was (especially for my celiac partner), but then came back a couple minutes later with the food and quickly left. So, not so sure how safe it is, even though they have gf labeled on their menu (at the bottom of the web page)
I dont think we'll be going back to try other things, as I have yet to have food from somewhere where I couldnt even begin to eat it / had to walk out.
