I enjoyed my experience my waiter also had a gluten allergy so he was very knowledgeable about my questions. I ended up getting soup and salad it was great! The manager did come out to let me know the chips are cooked in the same fryer as wheat products. Though the menu items were less than desirable the staff made up for it.

If you are vegetarian, there’s a few gf options like quesadillas, chips/guac, and veggie enchiladas. The meat is not gluten free! Their gluten free menu is definitely lacking. We went when the restaurant was super slow so they were able to accommodate for cross contamination.

If you tell them you have an allergy, they will send a manager out and explain in detail what is safe. The manager will also bring out your food. They are amazing and so friendly about everything.
I usually get the southwest enchilada with boom boom and plain roasted chicken (the other chicken is marinated with gluten) and I’ve never been sick!!

I had a great experience at Chuy’s with their awareness to Celiac disease and their ability to make sure everything was safe for me to eat. The General Manager, Bentley, was awesome and I would highly recommend requesting him to talk to when you go in!!

I loved this place before Celiac diagnosis. I was told they marinate meat in beer. Not gf friendly! I brought my own chips and had guac. and hot sauce.
