I wish I would have known about this place sooner! It's like Chipotle for Indian food. I was greeted by a friendly face at the counter who took the time to introduce me to the menu and pulled out the allergy guide to be sure Most things were safe for gluten free (aside from the Naan, Roti, and samosas). And it was pretty well marked for Vegetarian vs. Vegan. I settled on: the perfect balance bowl with brown basmati rice and salmon with tkki masala. I also got the ginger tamarind sauce but really didn't need it. The bowl was flavorful enough .on its own. Felt fine afterwards and will definitely be coming back! PS. I downloaded their nutritional sheet. Apparently the salmon is prepared with dairy, but I think they use ghee so it is clarified butter (which does not have casein).

I have celiac and I'm very sensitive. Twice I tried the chicken tikka masala with rice and both times I had a reaction. It wasn't severe but it was very obvious there was some cross contamination. The food is sooo delicious, unfortunately I can't eat there though and you should definitely proceed with caution if you have celiac disease. Such is life in a shared kitchen :(

download their nutritional facts from website. double-check since they use ghee so while it is dairy it does not have casein.
Amazing food! Eaten here several times and have never been sick. Big portions and good prices. Their chocolate truffles are to die for!

I've eaten here a couple times. Food is good! Really wanted it to be safe. Got sick both times. Cross contamination is a problem. Hmmm! Interesting! I had an extensive review of this location and my menu photos are still up but my review is gone.

gluten free menu! Tell them it's an allergy and they'll make notes so chefs change gloves for you. great food!

Very good food! Gluten free options and the staff was knowledgeable. Will definitely return.
Very good food. fast food-like atmosphere (think chipotle). answered all of my questions since it was my first time. asked if I had a sensitivity or an allergy, and specified a gluten allergy on my receipt so the kitchen knew. very family friendly and would recommend.

Have eaten here twice now and have had no issues whatsoever. I’ve gotten the chicken tikka masala bowl with half white and half brown rice, very good. Menu online clearly states what is and is not gluten free. I know there’s dine in options available but I’ve only ever ordered online. I’ll be back!

My husband and I just went to Choolah for the first time ever this evening. The staff was incredibly patient with all of my questions. Indian cuisine and the staff is very knowledgeable about gluten free. My meal was flagged and gloves and utensils were changed and shared spaces wiped completely down. The food was excellent. This was my first time eating Indian cuisine, but it was delicious. We will definitely be going back in the future!
