Stopped at Chipotle for a salad and some chips. Informed staffing up front that I was a celiac. Employee was great as he washed his hands, changed his gloves and pulled my lettuce from the fresh stuff in back to avoid cross contamination so I thought everything was going to be safe. About 4 hours later, I realized I got glutened. Although the employee took every precaution in preparing my food, the preparation of the food was not carefully done and cross contamination was present. I loved Chipotle but I will not eat here again. Bummer.

I was super surprised on how they took it seriously. I said to the girl working I have Celiacs and she immediately changed gloves washed her hands and didn’t let anyone else touch my order, I also ordered food for my non celiac husband and they bagged mine separately. 10/10 would go back
Yes
I just said the word gluten allergy and the guy working immediately moved a coworker over to continue taking orders while he took off his gloves, scrubbed his hands and put new gloves on to make our child's build your own. We do bring our own cheese to cut down on possible cross contamination but it was so awesome to not be questioned or made to feel like we were slowing things down, especially for how busy they were. We always feel great going to chipotle!!

Chipotle does not have a gluten free menu but instead has a list of gluten-containing ingredients to avoid. Cross-contamination is a concern, however, so let the person taking your order know that you are gluten free and if you need them to take the proper precautions.
From their website: "If you avoid gluten, don't eat our flour tortillas. If you are highly sensitive to gluten and would like us to change our gloves, just let us know at the start of your order. You should be aware items containing corn, including corn tortillas (chips, soft corn, and crispy corn tortillas) and corn salsa, may have a small amount of gluten from potentially co-mingling with gluten-containing grains in the field."
They have options . I am allergic to citric acid also and got really sick .
Have Celiac's Disease and this is one of the few places where I have zero symptoms!

My daughter has celiac disease and cannot tolerate gluten. We eat here all the time and never a problem, as long as I'm careful and be sure to clarify to the server to use corn tortillas (and watch them - one other Chipotle still used a flour tortilla after I specifically said corn for gluten-free). She gets the kids cheese quesadilla kids meal with white rice and black beans. Loves the chips and mild salsa. She's also had a burrito bowl with chicken and carnitas. No problems.

😭🥰 I just had the best experience here! I felt a little anxious as it was the peak of lunch time, but the line was incredible! They took out the utensils, cleaned the bar, and were gracious. The food it delicious! I made sure to tell the manager how great her staff was. I’ll be back.

Stopped here for lunch while traveling through the area. I asked the first person to change their gloves. They didn’t understand, but another employee helped explain. I had to ask the next employee down the line let the first person continue to add the toppings. There was much confusion about this. I guess it was ok in the end because I didn’t get sick. But I wouldn’t recommend this location. The rice tasted different and they were completely out of ice. Warm soda topped off a pretty frustrating experience.

Of the local locations it’s the best. But still not great. They’ll take the precautions as needed. But, and fully understanding why, at lunch rush you’ll have to wait and they’ll be obviously upset. And the drive thru/ online order is always cross contaminated.

Ordered online which might have been a mistake. They have the option to select and allergy and I was careful with my ordering and making notes, but still got sick.
