If you let them know you are gluten free, they will change their gloves, use little cups to scoop out the toppings into your bowl, and will grab lettuce and cheese from the back that hasn’t been touched. So nice!!

It is possible to eat here safely but it sometimes requires vigilance. They touch the flour tortillas all the time, so you have to request gluten free for an allergy. Then make sure they change their gloves and don’t touch anything with gluten. Avoid the lettuce and cheese, or ask for some from the back, because the stuff at the counter has been reached into. They generally do all this without requesting it, but it varies by day and employee. Non-busy times are always best. They have a tip jar, so I try to tip when they do it right without me having to remind them, but you can’t add a tip to the credit card tab, so it’s good to have a little cash for that.
Chipotle does not have a gluten free menu but instead has a list of gluten-containing ingredients to avoid. Cross-contamination is a concern, however, so let the person taking your order know that you are gluten free and if you need them to take the proper precautions.
From their website: "If you avoid gluten, don't eat our flour tortillas. If you are highly sensitive to gluten and would like us to change our gloves, just let us know at the start of your order. You should be aware items containing corn, including corn tortillas (chips, soft corn, and crispy corn tortillas) and corn salsa, may have a small amount of gluten from potentially co-mingling with gluten-containing grains in the field."

Chipotle offer Mexican Grill food served from a walk up line. Most food is GF except for the burritos. The tortilla chips are GF. So, be mindful of the cross contamination. They also change their gloves. The food was good.

I asked the front manager if I could get stuff from the back and she was passive aggressive the whole time about serving me. Eventually I told her I was okay not to get anything and she was verbally relieved. It was very upsetting and overwhelming going there. It made me feel like a huge inconvenience.

all offerings seem to be gluten free. I can always eat here safely.
They were so good with us! We asked them to change their gloves which they did. Felt very comfortable here!
