The counter staff had no idea what gluten free meant. She asked the manager who explained that only their pre-packaged gf bun could be considered safe because "there's a lot of flour back there". I explained that regular chick-fil-a has chicken and fries that are safe and he essentially said he wouldn't risk it. So we didn't.

Chick-fil-A offers gluten free grilled chicken nuggets and many locations have dedicated fryers for fries. Check with your location if cross-contamination is a concern for you.
Though they were nice and told me which items were GF, I should have asked about cross contamination. so many reviews here said it was safe, but I am so sick now, a day later, that I will not return
It is great that they offer GF fries, but there isn't much else I can eat there. The grilled chicken nuggets don't taste like real meat, and the shakes aren't gluten free.
I work inside the mall and I am grateful that there is a place in the food court that I can go to grab something quick or for a change of pace from home-meals/leftovers. The waffle fries are cooked in a dedicated fryer which rare for fast food joints, so I feel completely safe ordering them. I also always get the grilled chicken nuggets for my protein. You generally have to wait for them because they put them on the grill once you order them. The plus side is you always know that they are fresh and haven't been sitting. I believe most of the sauces are safe too. I always get the chick-fil-a sauce, Polynesian Sauce, or honey mustard.
Love getting waffle fries, yogurt without the granola, and a grilled chicken breast sandwich no bun. I've never been sick and I put the chicken and topings on a gluten free bread when I get home.
They have a few menu items. Their fries and grilled nuggets are pretty good and gluten free. Overall not very knowledgable about gluten free but I've never had a contamination problem.
I get the southwest grilled chicken salad here all the time. I also like the grilled chicken sandwich with the gluten free bun, and have gotten the nuggets, and the eggs and hash browns, and their french fries. I get little cups of ice cream sometimes. Dedicated gluten free fryer. Never had a reaction in all the years I've been eating here. The eggs are probably the riskiest thing to eat because they make biscuits from scratch in the morning, only got them once when I was starving. A lifesaver when you need to pick up something quick to eat!

Chick-Fil-A is really the only fast food establishment I can eat at without a reaction. They have a fryer just for the fries. I always get a grilled nuggets meal with fries. It has always been fine for me but I also always let them know I am celiac and can’t have any cross contamination. I have never had a reaction at this location and only only location have I experienced a reaction and that was a location in North Carolina.

Though the corporate website has info about gluten free items and the order taker I spoke with not only understood cross contamination but has Celiac herself, I didn't feel well after eating the fries. I bought grilled chicken and fries. They fry the fries in different oil than breaded items so I tried them first. At first it seemed fine but I felt gross and my throat hurt after the fries. I didn't even bother with the grilled nuggets as I've had the same thing with them before. I just won't bother with Chickfila anymore.
