The owner outwardly states that they do not offer gluten free even when they used to have a gluten free menu. They wrongly labelled an item as gluten free for one of their holiday takeout meals then wouldn’t own up to the fact they listed it as gluten free on their website and told me essentially to eat somewhere else.

I stopped here as I read other reviews saying it is safe. I spoke to staff there and they said small kitchen with lots of possibility of cross contamination. I did not stay and eat. Too high risk.

Staff were very knowledgeable. Our group ordered pulled pork and the pulled chicken. Gluten free buns available. Lots of sides to chose from for gf. We had the mashed potatoes, and broccoli salad. Delicious food.

The food here was delicious! Had the smoked pork with Brussel sprouts, green beans and broccoli salad. The beans and Brussels were so good. The broccoli salad was fresh and crunchy. Only thing was we had a very long wait for our food. Will be back though.

Awesomeness! Very knowledgeable about Celiac . Food is dynamite. I had the smoked pork shoulder, real mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts! And a scoop of ice cream for dessert. Will definitely be back to try some more delicious food

I didn’t feel 100% comfortable ordering from this establishment (truly a first for me). Staff was not warm or inviting... it was quite strange to be frank. I would rather dine where my presence is welcomed!

Highly recommended! Almost everything that isn’t fried is gluten free. The staff understand celiac, and in addition to the fryer, warned us away from another sauce that doesn’t have gluten but is at risk of cross contamination. The food is delicious! Definitely worth visiting if you’re in the area.

The owner quickly responded to my Facebook inquiry about accommodating Celiac customers. The staff was also able to answer my menu questions. The food was delicious so we'll be going back. Be prepared to pay extra for the gluten free bun ($1) plus an upcharge depending on the side you choose. We ordered a Caesar salad because they don't have a dedicated fryer for fries and we were charged an extra $2.50.

After seeing a couple reviews for Butchies I decided to check it out for an early dinner with my boyfriend. When I called the staff member said it's not a gluten free facility but they accomodate celiac customers all the time. The staff patiently explained the menu, detailed what was already gluten free, what could be altered to be gluten free and what to avoid completely. The food was delicious and I hope to be back in the neighborhood soon so I can go again and try something different.

I had been wanting to try this place for so long. I messaged with the owner on Facebook about their gf options since they aren’t posted anywhere and was happy with her responses. When we went in the owner was there and was able to tell us everything that I could order. They have gf buns for the sandwiches. Lots to choose from. Just need to ask the staff! Can’t wait to go back. Best part was that I wasn’t sick after!
