We ordered salads from their gluten free menu and they came with fried flour tortillas on the salad. My son with Crohn’s disease and gluten intolerance are some before we noticed they looked different from their other chips. The waitress just said sorry and the manager said nothing even though he was made aware of the situation.

You can ask for your food to be prepared with caution in mind
Very limited menu if you are celiac or sensitive you can’t eat the corn tortillas. With the virus restrictions they have shortened the menu so now only two items are available on the gf menu.

Enchiladas are made with corn tortillas. Really good.
Yes
Food is very good. There is, however, not much to choose from. Beef soft tacos, tamales, Fajitas (bacon-wrapped shrimp, BBQ shrimp, or veggie) and a couple other things. Salsa is great! The corn tortillas that come with the fajitas look homemade and are wonderful. The chips are TERRIBLE. That is the biggest reason for giving 3 stars vs 4. Chips at a Mexican Food Embassy should not be terrible. I did not get sick, which I realize is the most important thing. There are other Mexican restaurants in OKC (Ted's!!) that are celiac friendly and have amazing chips.

The food is always GREAT, love that I can get GF, price is good. Service has always been wonderful.
They do have a gluten-free menu with tacos, fajitas, tamales, salad, and dessert. They’ll make you fresh, gluten-free chips that are baked, not fried, for safety. My husband and I both ordered fajitas (mine GF and his not) and they sent the tortillas in the same container. Mine were corn tortillas wrapped up and his were flour tortillas underneath. We just carefully got mine out without touching anything else but next time I’ll specifically ask for them to be separate. I wouldn’t have thought they’d put them together.

Very few GF options. They made me some GF chips but they didn’t arrive until just before our meal. They do not have ala-cart menu options. I ordered the ground beef enchilada and they brought me steak. The guacamole was excellent..it was the only redeeming experience. Service was extremely slow and inattentive.

Very little gluten free options, which is extremely disappointing considering its a Mexican restaurant. Additionally after already asking about gluten I was served chips that weren't gluten free.

There is a separate gluten sensitive corner on the menu with enough choices. And I couldn’t choose and the chef made a surprise dinner for me. Super tasteful and super nice. 10/10. Can I move this restaurant to the Netherlands? ;-)

I got the shrimp fajita salad without cheese. It was excellent. Will be returning.
