Even in the drive through, the guy was amazing at answering all my questions and telling me how things were made so that I could be safe. He told me the fryer can’t be guaranteed, so I just got a burger and some ice cream. The bun came separate and warm and it was perfect. I felt very taken care of.

I really appreciate that their website has a interactive allergy menu. Make my life easier.

I went in ordering the roast beef sandwich with their gluten free bun. They served it with sweet baby rays BBQ sauce which is gluten free and as my side I ordered coleslaw. For desert I tried their root beer frozen custard. Very yummy!

Service was fast. I ordered curb pickup and they were ready when I pulled up.

I’ve eaten here a couple of times with no issues getting a burger with a gluten free bun. They have a shared frier so the fries are not celiac safe. Their custard is gluten free too.

I am low FODMAP which means basically no wheat products, but has other very specific restrictions. Had the grilled chicken sandwich with a gluten free bun (no pickles, add mayo). Can confirm they only season the grilled chicken with salt and pepper. The fries worked fine for me. This is basically the only fast food place that even has any low FODMAP options, so if that’s what you’re looking for, this will definitely work!

BEWARE! I ordered a double cheese deluxe. Receipt shows allergy. Bun was packaged as were condiments. I was excited! Started reacting before I even finished eating. Something was definitely cross-contaminated. Meat, cheese, or veggies? Hard to say. I had no fries or drink at all. Just the burger.

Culver’s is great, because they have a dedicated fryer for their fries. They have a gluten free bun for those who need this option. However, their bun does have pea fiber in it, which I can’t eat due to it being one of my trigger allergens for my autoimmune disease. I like to eat either their chili cheese fries or I will get a burger with no bun and make it a basket.

While this would possibly work for someone that has a sensitivity. This is not a place you would want to eat if you are celiac . The fries are dropped in the same oil that everything else is. As if one time wasn’t enough, I had gone another time after and just got a chicken breast and sure enough , cross-contact and had touched gluten. Strongly advise against for celiac

They tried. Spoke to the manager, she took the proper steps notating my order and notifying the kitchen, and yet, here we are.

Bun came in its own packaging, so cross-contamination must have occurred.

Definitely not Celiac safe.

I eat at Culvers often when I am in Bowling Green and Somerset. When I order the Gluten Free they always ask if it is an alergen or a preference. The cook always changes gloves and I adore the heated bun in a separate package.

i absolutely love Culver's, but i wouldn't recommend this one. i had to repeatedly tell the cashier to mark my order as an allergy before he did, we had to go back for my ice cream, and despite it being a corporate policy afaik they didn't have a dedicated fryer. they also cook shrimp in it, which I'm allergic to. my sister also wasn't happy about how dark it was in the bathroom. she said that it looked like they hadn't been doing upkeep/repairs and the stall door has a tendency to loudly slam shut.

The staff are happy to accommodate with a gluten-free bun, and always ask if they should take allergy precautions.

The gluten free bun is one of the best I’ve had. Nothing like the usual dry and icky ones that I’m used to finding in stores.

If you ask them to take precautions, they will serve you the bun in a separate, sealed package from the burger bits.

I had researched my options prior to coming. I informed the employee taking orders that I had a gluten allergy (easiest way to explain quickly). He clearly had been trained on what to do to flag my order. He informed me they had a gluten free bun rather than having to go gluten free (let's be honest...no bun is better sometimes). They had a sign posted on the menu asking for to be notified of allergies. When my food was brought out they advised me mine was being cooked and brought separately for my protection.

Culver’s is my go to, always! I get a burger typically with the gluten free bun that is packaged separately. They also steam it so it is not cold and crumbly. I would ask if the fries are fried in a dedicated fryer because some locations do and some do not. Staff are always so kind about dietary restrictions too and are knowledgeable.

Ate a cheeseburger with the separate GF bun here, gave the whole celiac spiel and had an allergy alert on my order. Felt somewhat sick for a day after like I’d been cross-contaminated, which sucks since Culver’s is usually so good. I went right after the eclipse so they were super busy and I’m guessing there was a lapse in protocol. I’m sure they are usually good based on other reviews but probably best to avoid when they’re in a big rush.

They offer a gluten free bun for burgers/sandwiches. The burger and any condiments come separately and bun comes in a separate bag and you assemble them yourself to help avoid cross contamination in the kitchen. Fries are technically fried in a separate fryer but was told that there is still a risk for cross contamination. Personally I eat the fries and have not had a reaction and I am usually sensitive to cross contamination. I also get custard for dessert and there are several toppings that are gluten free.

Apparently in September of 2023 they started frying their Cheese curds with the french fries and no longer even say the burgers are safe. Not worth the risk.

We've ordered from Culver's weekly since moving to Utah two months ago . I can get kids meals with gf buns as well as butterburgers for the adults and fries all gf with no reaction. Staff is knowledgeable.

I ordered a double butter burger with a gluten free bun here, and stated that this was allergy and they were very understanding. However when I received my order the plastic bag the bun is wrapped in was partially teared, but I blew it off which is my mistake and ate it anyways. I’m not sure where cross contamination occurred but I got quite sick from it. I’ve had Culver’s in the past and had no reaction, so it surprised me to have such a bad flare up from somewhere I trusted.

I've eaten at several Culver's, including this one, for years. It's my go-to burger place. Never once have I had a reaction. They do not use dedicated fryers for the fries. Keep that in mind. Their chili is also GF.

Always a good experience! Gluten free buns, and a dedicated fryer for fries at this location. I doublecheck that every time though in case it should ever change. Love being able to have fries and a burger like everyone else. Mention the bun is for an allergy and you get your meal in a separate bag. The bun is heated in a sealed bag so let that steam out right away or you’ll have a soggy bun. 👍

Excellent burger. GF bun separately wrapped. Staff was impressive. Newly diagnosed and still learning. They noticed my son ordered a GF bun and fries. Fries are not in a dedicated fryer, so NO to the fries for him. Staff came to table to clarify prior to delivering food.

When you order a burger with the GF bun you get the burger warm, still sealed in a plastic bag. Your burgers and other ingredients are placed on paper in a separate box so they are easy to move to the bun. The condiments for the burger are in individual single serve containers so that cross contamination is avoided. Unfortunately the French fries are made in a shared fryer but their Cole slaw is very good if you like your slaw creamy like KFC.

The best gluten free bun I’ve had!

Gluten Free Buns and Burgers are amongst our favorite. At one point in the past Fries were fried separate fryer but was informed that is not the case anymore. This is true for both the Bismarck and Mandan locations.

Very sad as for kids, was our best option for burger, fries, and ice cream.

Please consider separating.

We used to eat here a few times a month but not worth it with no fries.

Was in again and asked about the fries. Was told by front person training in another employee that they were separated. I asked him to verify with Kitchen which then I had to explain what I was asking. Confirmed that all is shared and fries are not good.
