Uni Sushi

This place is not safe at all! The waitress knew nothing about gluten free neither did the cook. We called before dinning they said they had gluten free items on the list. When we got there I asked the lady if they had a gluten free menu she said she didn’t have one. I couldn’t have the steak cause it was marinated in teriyaki sauce, so she offered the plain grilled chicken. when it came to the table it had teriyaki sauce on it. Then I told I told her I did not order the teriyaki sauce that it was supposed to be plain. It was brought back a second time, same thing. Told her to take it back I can’t it eat. Ended up eating rice they also said I still have to pay for it because I ordered it. 0 stars from me.

The sushi is not gluten free. They put gluten in the right rice to help it cook. Almost everything but edamame has gluten. They do offer gluten free soy sauce.

No gf menu. Server did not know of any gf options either. No gf soy sauce when asked. The sushi is very good though!

This is my go to sushi place in Surprise. While there is not a gf menu, I have found the staff to be generally knowledgeable. I now know which rolls are gf, and they provide me with gf soy sauce.
