****UPDATE*****Below is my old review, when it was great and safe. Now I avoid it. I got glutened on my last visit and haven’t been back since. I wrote a long explanation of how I felt after eating there with a reservation though Resy. Neither Resy or The Farmer’s Daughter ever replied. I wrote back and nothing. Their quality level has dropped precipitously and I no longer trust them.“Very allergen friendly, locally sourced and the quality matches the price which is a rarity. Iced coffee comes with free refills and the service is excellent. *Note - they are crazy busy in weekends so be prepared to wait but you don’t have to stand around as they use a text/page service when your table is ready.”

Based on other reviews & on line menu, I was excited to treat myself on this trip from Oregon. Staff doesn’t understand their gluten free options or protocol. At all. They asked manager, which is fine, then explained everything as best they could, (no clarity on Celiac safe) so I asked about gf pastries available only to be told they didn’t have any (not sold out, just not any made) this was Mother’s Day. I ordered take out breakfast for my kids. The $11 avocado toast (forgotten in our takeout then took another 10 mins) was a joke. One thickish slice of toast with a thin smear of smashed avocado. The whole experience was 45-1 hour. Overpriced and nothing special.

Love this place so much!!!! Such a dream. It’s beautiful and has such friendly staff as well as adorable decor. They have a separate menu and everything is delicious. I’ve gone twice and both times left so full and happy (and not glutened). Had the French toast (incredible) and eggs with toast bacon and potatoes.

Excellent good and amazing coffee too! They take the gluten allergy seriously and have a variety of options including french toast for breakfast.

Menu looked great but there’s only a little footnote about gluten free bread being available upon request, and that’s usually a bad sign …
But folks … I swear I think my eyes rolled up into my head upon first bite. It was amazing. I had the Croissant-y Christo (but GF bread instead of croissant) and for the first time ever the bread was so good I didn’t miss the idea of a croissant. I also had the Peaflower Latte which was also super yum, and the service was good - my server was super patient with me and I was a hot mess trying to make decisions at the time 😆
Anyhoo, it was amazing and I hope they can rectify their staffing issues at the Sudbury location (temp closed Tues and Wednesdays as of 7/22) because I’d go back tomorrow if I could.
