Texas Roadhouse

Went to TRH tonight for dinner. The waitress was great and suggested i have my steak without seasoning. I had the sirloin, baked potato, and corn. The meal was fine and i did not get sick.

When I asked for GF menu, the server winced and said we're not really safe for people with Gluten allergy.

Told him that I just wanted a steak, baked potato and green beans with no seasoning on them.

I got glutened anyway. :( Will not be coming back again but I appreciate the server's warning though.

Steak, baked sweet potato, and your choice of other vegetables, just hold the bread. There are many options here. Beware if you have a peanut allergy though. Many options.

They have a “gluten-sensitive” menu that has salads with oil and vinegar, sandwiches and hamburgers without buns, and entrees.

They do have a gluten-free menu kind of, I did tell the server that I have a good allergy. Later that night I've never had this much pain in my stomach after eating at a place. I asked them to change their gloves before touching my food and I don't think they did. I would not recommend this location.

Had no issue ordering from the “gluten-friendly” menu. Our server and the manager both worked with us to answer any questions. My daughter had a sirloin and applesauce with no issues. They do not have any GF dressing except for oil and vinegar.

This was probably the best GF meal I’ve ever had at a restaurant! I asked for GF menu, our waitress had one with her. I ordered the Steak Kabob with no rice. Mashed potatoes with no gravy and a side salad with oil and vinegar no croutons. They brought out the salad with a small container of oil and another small container of red wine vinegar so I could add as much or as little as I wanted. I really appreciate that! Then the Kabobs and mashed potatoes came out… absolutely fabulous! I was so shocked. Will be adding Texas Roadhouse to my favorites list ❤
