They had no ribs, and there wasn’t much else on the menu.

Excellent gluten free ribs. Ordered the half slab and two side salads. They made special note on my tab and got it right.

Yummy Gluten Free BBQ and Sides. Accommodating, friendly staff!
Service was good, friendly folks. If you have cross contamination sensitivity impress upon them that if they put bread on the items you won't be able to accept it. I ordered mine without bread and it still came out with a big piece of Texas toast on it. (And my son asked for only lettuce on his burger -not gf- and they still sent it out with onion and tomato on it.) So whoever does the assembly of the orders needs some improvement. Also their stuff is SWEET. Between the pulled pork and the cole slaw I think I probably consumed half a cup of sugar. I'd go there again if I was hungry and couldn't think of someplace better but I'm not likely to choose to go there again otherwise. My non-gf spouse liked it though. :-)
Fries aren't gf. I had the corn and the grean beans, both were mushy and bland. The beef brisket was fatty and oily. I wouldn't go back.
They have a gf menu but dont understand celiac disease, i ordered from the gf menu and they brought my food out with bread, then did not understand that i cant just take the bread off the plate, best to avoid this one
— Not at all
I have a severe case of Celiac, and usually have no issues when eating at Shane’s, but at this location I ordered off the Gluten free menu and when the food came out there was a large slice of Texas toast on top of the pulled pork🤦♂
I sent it back, and I’m pretty sure they didn’t fix a new plate only removed the bread, causing a flare up later in the evening.

The bbq was really good, I wasn’t a fan of the Cole slaw but I can be a Cole slaw snob. All of the workers took care with my gluten sensitive mea to keep it separate and to limits as much cross contamination as possible. The server even brought mine out separate from my husband’s.

Generally, the service is very good. It is however a low-tier family family-oriented restaurant (reasonable prices, good portions, above fast-food, but not mid or fine dining) as such it experiences turnover in staff.
Training is in place, but I have found slipups, like part of a french fry buried in a pork plate. Be certain to remind the front of house that it needs to be gluten-free and ask them if they know what that means.
