My server was knowledgeable about gluten free and even steered me away from the pink lemonade I asked about because there is a food starch in it from an unspecified source on the box of mix they use. Between that and the fact they have a separate gluten free menu, I felt safe enough to order.
I ordered Alice Springs chicken, mashed potatoes, asparagus, a side of grilled shrimp, and a glass of water. My server caught that they put my GF side of grilled shrimp on a piece of bread and had them remake me shrimp before they even brought out our entrees.
All this made me feel like they know what they're doing. It was delicious. But, I started getting my gluten exposure symptoms on the way home. I tried to shrug it off, but when I was awoken in the early hours with more violent gluten exposure symptoms, I knew they'd gotten me with cross contact.
This has been exactly like when I was taken out by a single chocolate truffle that happened to have barley malt powder in it (realized it after the fact, totally my fault), so I know it's my glutened symptoms.
I've been so ill, that I will not risk eating at Outback again.

The manager, Jamie, was very good at making sure we had a successful gluten free dinner. My daughter loved her food and we even had a gluten free dessert! Great job, Outback in Rock Hill

I was brought a GF menu & there were lots of choices on there. However when my dinner was served, the shrimp was on a big piece of bread. No bueno. No reactions to the meal, so that’s a plus.

Knowledgeable, accommodating & happy to answer questions. Alexander did an excellent job, taking special care to tend to my requests. Victoria steak, cooked in al foil, uncut sw potato & salad no croutons. Gf dessert too YAY!

They have a gluten free menu. The server was extremely helpful and understanding. This place was definitely celiac friendly.

For a chain restaurant they are great. Up front about the possibility of cross contamination. But they are very careful. They have a gluten free menu, you just have to ask. And if it is on there menu and it can be made gluten free with just a few changes, they'll make it for you

Loved the Steak and Sides, they have a GF menu and are very aware of allergies. Solid selection of gf options including a dessert that I look forward to trying next time

I had the chili and the mashed potatoes because I wasn’t really feeling a steak that day. Gluten free menu is available but with somewhat limited choices if you don’t feel like having steak.

Horrible, will not go back
Had a GF menu but half the things on the menu were no longer available. Had to repeat gf salad order twice and it was still brought out wrong. Waiter could have cared less.

I ordered the gluten free Shrimp and Steak combo. it's only GF when the shrimp are not placed on a piece of toast.
My dinner arrived with the Shrimp on toast. I asked to check if the toast was GF. The server returned with a small plate stating the toast contained gluten and offered to remove the piece of toast or the shrimp and toast.
I explained that they had to remake the meal which they did.
Therefore, beware when eating here. The staff is not properly trained!!
