Nirvana Tea House & Cafe

tldr; Loved the vibe and menu; wasn’t so sure about cross-contamination for pastries so mostly avoided; though they had a lot of delicious looking GF options…

Took my kids here and was impressed by the number of gf options on the menu and the tea selection! The place is also entirely vegan for DF folks. They said they had a separate area for prepping GF food and changes gloves. I ordered the chickpea wrap which was huge and the ginger iced tea. My kids ordered the (gf!!) chocolate chip banana pancakes and their (non gf) avocado toast. The most fun was the hot tea service, which they brought over on a tray with a little tea pot and minute timer and everything. We got the Peach Perfect rooibos tea and liked it so much we bought some to take home. They also had smoothies but we didn’t notice until we were leaving.

For dessert, their case was overflowing with treats, reg and GF. However they were often displayed side by side and when I asked the server and one of the folks behind the counter about CC, I didn’t get a satisfactory answer, at least for me. So I would ask when you go to make your own assessment. However the server said their GF golden milk rice crispy treats were GF and not baked and she was able to get one from the back for me, rather than the display case where it was plated with reg cookies. It was delicious and I did not get sick. My kids esp loved the carrot cake cupcake (gf).

one of my favorite places around! kamala masala is amazing & the mindful mango bowl is to die for. Pastries are kept in the same container but you can ask if there are any gluten free ones that have not been put out yet in the back!

So many gluten free options and delicious vegan food (and I’m not vegan!!! Yum!!!). Knowledgeable about celiac and gluten free. Delicious and reasonably priced meals

Chill vibe, Vegan tea house. The tea is delicious, huge menu with many gluten free options! GF desserts too.
