We had a fantastic experience at Mission BBQ. They were very careful with our food and it was delicious! We will definitely be back.

Almost everything is gluten free and they are consistently knowledgeable about cross contact issues. They also don't act like anything is a hassle and they empythat they just want you to be able to safely enjoy your meal. Such a pleasant change from the norm!

I’ve eaten at Mission in a few different states / cities and they have been consistent about keeping my order Gluten Free when I tell the cashier that I’m gluten free and they yell to the back that my order is. I have had to remind a few cashiers that they have to do that but and they’ve always been nice about it.

Make sure to tell the cashier that you’re gluten free and make sure the cashier informs the people working the food prep area

The lady taking my order was very friendly and helpful. They had a gf menu. The fries are the only item cooked in the fryer.

There’s a separate GF menu and the cashier discretely notified the kitchen staff about my dietary needs. The turkey and pulled pork were great, especially the turkey.

We enjoyed a wonderful meal at Mission BBQ in Winchester. I had the half smoked chicken (yard bird) with fries. Fryer is dedicated, fresh cut fries only. Others in my group had the baked beans and said they were good. I had them add my cornbread to my husband’s meal, no problem. Their lemonade was also good.

I ordered a large order for takeout to feed the family, specifying that the meat needed to be GF. When I got home I saw that they had wrapped cornbread in the same containers as the meat. I honestly could have given them more details about my condition and requirements in my phone call order, so I take some of the blame, but they were extremely apologetic, and insisted on replacing my order. They drove 25 miles to my house and brought me the new meat, along with a sincere apology and a gift card.
Great business ethics, honest company, the food is delicious, and I have not been sick from their food yet (celiac) after 3 visits. I'll definitely be back.
Be specific when ordering, and watch what sauce you use, not all are GF.

Great food, great service, and super clean. As soon as I finished ordering the person who took my order yelled back "gluten free" several times and I watching the line all change their gloves and get new utensils. Ribs were delicious and a staff member even came by to let me know 5/6 sauces at my table were gluten free and which one to avoid. Highly recommend.

This was a great option for our family! They did add the cornbread in with the meat, but the cornbread was wrapped in foil, so it ended up being ok. We ordered online, so I couldn't verbally ask them to leave the cornbread separate.

Mission BBQ is a growing BBQ chain with a heavy veterans theme. They even play the national anthem every day at noon. Anyway, the BBQ is good, assuming your not comparing to BBQ from your local NC, TX, TN, KS place. They have a gluten free menu, which is basically their regular menu less the sandwiches and 1 BBQ sauce, the TX one. Staff is well aware and will remind you if the TX sauce being gluten containing. Good place.

Followed the reviews and stopped in to immediately see a GF menu next to the register. Cashier got my order in, relayed to the kitchen team that it’s GF and a few minutes later, meat, veggies. Sure do wish they has a GF cornbread but what can you do.
