JOE & THE JUICE

I first discovered Joe & the Juice in Copenhagen, Denmark when my daughter and I were looking for gluten-free food for lunch. Since then, I’ve had it in London, Miami, and now Aventura. They always have great sandwich choices, and delicious juices. They take great precautions to keep you safe from cross-contamination. I always feel confident ordering from them. This time I got an avocado chicken sandwich and a strawberry, banana, apple smoothie. So good!

How would you rate the taste and quality of the gluten-free food you tried?

— Excellent

I didn’t try the food but when I explained that I was coelaic they made my juice separately. Cleaned everything and changed gloves to avoid gross contamination.

How would you rate the taste and quality of the gluten-free food you tried?

— Excellent

They have gluten free bowls here, for example one with egg salad, avocado tomatoes and spinach. I tried one and it was really nice, not very big though. They also have gf bread for their panini sandwiches. When I ordered they asked me if I was allergic to gluten, I told them yes and they asked if it was okay for them to use the same knife and grill as the other bread. I said that wouldn’t work for me and they made note and adjusted accordingly. Only miss in my mind was that they stacked my gf sandwich on top of my partners non gf sandwich. They were wrapped in paper so it was probably okay but not great. They also have a ton of juices and great coffee here.

They have gluten free bread for their sandwiches and use a separate board to prepare the sandwich to make it coeliac friendly. Shakes are also gluten free.
