They don’t cover anything in gluten here except the buns, so no worries on fry cross-contamination. Very good burger with lettuce (animal style is also GF), fries, and vanilla shake

I’ve eaten here and other In-N-Outs plenty of times and had no issues . Everything is GF except the buns, so order burgers “protein style” which is a lettuce wrap. So fries and all other items are safe. Cross contamination is the biggest problem here. Ask for separate containers for your burger and glove changes. They do not have a separate preparation area for the food.

We ate here last night. Ordered my daughters patty and cheese they added the note gluten allergy. She was running to the bathroom all night with diarrhea. She is Celiac.

Order a protein style burger and tell them your issue. They always package my burger separate the rest of the order. We had to wait once so my burger would be prepared on a clean surface. They pay attention! Eaten here several times since diagnosis and never had a problem.
Yes
The protein style burger is great, but beware of the chopped onions. At most locations they cook them on the same stove that they use to heat the buns.
Never had a mistake, just make sure to order your burger protein style because of an allergy. I love having a GF drive through option.
Protein style burger and fries are all safe for celiacs! :)

Major fail! The person talking our order explained the protocols that were in place to keep my fries gf. As I watched the workers prepare our order, I realized none of the steps that none of the steps were being taken. I questioned the employee who handed us our food, and she had a different answer than what I was given when ordering. As we were discussing this, I happened to look down at our order. My "gf/allergy" fries were in the same bag as my husband's half-wrapped burger.

Be careful ordering here. I have witnessed them use the same knife to spread ‘spread’ on buns and then on my gluten allergy marked animal fries. My go to order here is Flying Dutchman and a fry, with spread packets on the side and haven’t been sick ordering this way.

🌾🚫 Gluten Free Items: Protein style (wrapped in lettuce) cheeseburgers and double doubles. Fries and shakes are also gluten free!
✴ Prior to ordering, let them know you have a gluten free order. I usually tell them
“gluten allergy” and they put an allergy alert on the order as well as a verbal notification to the back. If you don’t mention “allergy” you’re subject to cross contamination.
They will cook the patty on a new and/or cleaned surface to avoid cross contamination. When any gluten free or other allergy order is made, they will note it on your order and also verbally tell the kitchen.
🐶 In-N-Out locations have outdoor seating that are dog friendly. Unsalted and plain “Pup Patties” are available for $1.05 each!
