Wait staff was a little confused about what gluten was when I told them I had a gluten allergy. Wasn’t super confident in if my meal would actually be gluten free or not.

Delicious dinner! I got the grilled fish and it was amazing. Waitress was very nice and happy to explain gluten free options on the menu.

Good food overall and beautiful view! Waitress was only able to provide 1 appetizer and entree that are GF, (plus salads) though I feel that there is probably more than can be substituted. She did take the time to ensure salad would be GF with no croutons and stating GF when meal was delivered. I played it safe had the grilled fish with pesto with mashed potatoes. There was a sauce that I’m a little unsure of from previous reviews. Stomach didn’t feel so great that evening. Not sure if it was from my entree or what.

The wait staff was knowledgeable and said I could have the fish without the sauce and precautions to prevent cc would be taken.

Currently do not have a gf menu, however the server will explain what they can do to make your meal gf. Our server was amazing, she has a food allergy herself so she understands the importance of the accommodation. I had grilled chicken with rice and vegetables. Amazing!!! So happy with my meal and our server!

Fabulous food and atmosphere. They said they could make most items on the menu GF. My daughter had the kid meal grilled fish with rice and veggies, side salad and drink. She really enjoyed the food and did not get sick. She is highly sensitive to gluten. I want to go back!! I wish we would have gone earlier before sunset. They have a beautiful garden (saw pics) and the mountain surroundings are gorgeous.

Nothing is clearly marked on the menu. The server did check on the Haiku chicken for me. She said they could make it without the teriyaki sauce so I said ok. I swear they didn’t even use salt and pepper! So bland! My husband, the celiac, has other food allergies and didn’t think he needed to tell the server (duh), we’ll he thought the steamed fish would be okay, but it too came covered in soy sauce. It didn’t say that on the menu so he thought he would be safe. Nope.
Food was delicious and the service was great. Many of the items on the menu are naturally gluten free. Come early for happy hour and tour the beautiful gardens!

The atmosphere is comfortable. The food is amazing! They have great service. And many of the menu items are gluten free friendly. My husband and daughter are celiac and had great options. The server was knowledgeable and willing to find out what could be done gluten free. Definitely worth waiting an hour to get our table because the food came out quick after we ordered. So delicious!

no dedicated gluten free menu. a good selection of salads, but servers are unsure which menu items are gluten free. Since I don't care for salads, I had the Spicy peel & eat shrimp, with no reaction.
The menu is not marked with gluten free options. However, my waitress said people have been asking for gluten free and she intended to suggest that management marl gluten free items on the menu.I had a baked fish with coconut crust. I really liked it. I chose that because most places have breading with coconut. I like to try new stuff when I can. I added a salad and baked potato. The salad was basic, not really much but lettuce. Only two dressings were gluten free. The baked potato was delicious. Cooked just right so it was moist. Loads of sour cream and a little bacon.I shared an appetizer of peel and eat shrimp. They tasted good, but did not devein them. Which I thought was gross because it's not actually a vein but how shrimp go, you know. I scraped out the black. My friend didn't understand. She ate them whole with the peel. Gross, lol.The atmosphere is really wonderful: open air, tropical, torches. The tables are spread out enough that I never heard other table's conversation. No reservations, but you can order appetizers or drinks in the waiting area. We went on a busy Friday night and that was a fun way to get started.Meals were about $25-$30. Adding a salad or potato was about $4 each. Appetizers were about $8 each. I had two decent glasses of wine. Starts around $6 a glass.
