Big'z Burger Joint

I simply mentioned that I'm GF, and the gentleman taking the order rattled off all of their safety measures! That's always a huge relief. The burger and fries were very tasty! Even the cheddar cheese and bacon are also GF. The GF bun was decent as well.

Great for families--huge outdoor play area (no playset, but just shaded grass for running around). It's fenced in, too.

Definitely recommend for Gluten Free!

I called ahead and they assured me they prepared the food separately and just speak to the cashier. We ordered all of our food GF, and said it was for Celiac so please prepare separately and he was lost. He spoke to someone else who said they had it covered, but sure enough my daughter got sick. Tasty food, but not safe for Celiac.

I ate here twice in one weekend. That should be enough of a review! My 5yo son was also beyond excited to find such an awesome kid-friendly place with GF French fries. The only complaint I have is the parking is horrible, especially around dinner time.

I've been to Bigz twice. The first time I got glutened but decided to go during a less busy time and talk with a manager again. The manager personally oversaw my meal prep to ensure no cross contamination. The second time was a success and the burger, gf bun (Udi's I think), and fries were amazing with no sickness after. If you order the sweet potato fries you have to specifically ask up front that they fry them in the gf frier (otherwise they're normally dropped in the frier contaminated by onion rings).

I will go back but only when a manager can see my meal all the way through. They seem to understand gf and cross contamination and their gf product offerings but have a long way to go in training their staff.

We have burgers here at least once a week. Just request the gluten free bun, extra 1.25 but the buns are always fresh. The fries are in dedicated fryer and are great! Have spoken with management and know they understand celiac and they act proud to be able to provide a gluten free experience. Six months of gluten free burgers and fries and never had problems. Best gluten free burger and fry meal in all of SA!

Very knowledgable and friendly. They have gluten free buns and are willing to make any sort of sandwich you might want! Great place for kids too! Big play area with lots of other kids.

The cashier had ZERO idea what I was talking about when I said the words "gluten free". As I was afraid, I came away having been glutened! ?

Love this place! You have to let them know you have an allergy. Make sure they write allergy on your ticket as well. I got a little nervous because we went when they were super busy but they still took care of me. We go at least a few times a month and they also have a dedicated fryer. One time they were out of buns and they let me bring a GF and DF bun from home. I gave 4 stars because you have to pay more attention to their food prep when they get so busy and because you have to remind the order takers to label your food. They do a good job though.
