Another Broken Egg Cafe

They claim they take allergens seriously. I ordered from the GF menu, expressed I have celiac at the time of ordering. The food was brought out stacked amongst the other plates with the GF plate undet others and their "gluten free" marker being a stick in the pancakes. Food pieces from non-GF food had fallen across the GF plate making the food inedible for me. They brought out the food order incomplete leaving my 3 year old the only one without food for about 5 minutes or more past everyone else. When I gave him mine so he could eat, the server argued with me with an attitude uneccessarily telling me how the kid's pancakes are smaller than the adult and, presumably, expecting me to leave my confused and hungry child without food while everyone else got to eat. When they brought his food out, there were black specks all over the pancakes, clearly some kind of burnt food that wasn't the pancakes themselves as they were baked into it. They clearly do not actually take the allergy precautions seriously like they claim.

This place is awesome! They have a whole gluten-friendly menu. I got the lemon blueberry and goat cheese pancakes and they were amazing! I’ve tried a lot of GF pancakes and these were next level. You couldn’t even tell they were GF, they were thick and fluffy. HIGHLY recommend!

Banana Fosters gluten friendly pancakes were delicious. Be prepared-they are very sweet.

Scrambled eggs were undercooked and runny in the middle. I couldn’t eat them.

Bacon was delicious and cooked perfectly.

FANTASTIC, AWESOME… probably the best breakfast place I’ve ever enJOYed! DELICIOUS GF options, creative dishes, flexible and accommodating! I enjoyed the bourbon street pancakes made gluten-free. They understand allergies and sensitivities, and will adjust accordingly! The entire staff is exceptional. And they have awesome and creative bloody Mary’s. This includes vodka infused with colorful bell peppers, one of their signature drinks. Highly recommended.!!! ♥

(FYI, I did not ask for a gluten-free menu because items were clearly marked and the weight staff was Uber helpful when I told them I was gluten and dairy free)

Had a great experience at an another broken egg cafe! They have a separate gf menu( you have to ask for it) they have multiple unique choices! Including different flavors of gf pancakes, gluten free toast, omelets, and more! Our waitress also asked about allergies to wheat/ gluten to make sure she took extra precautions in the kitchen. I had the skinny egg white omlete!

Saw a lot of good reviews about GF items. Came here with my family while visiting my brother for his Navy retirement ceremony. They have a GF menu with a lot of options. Shared GF rum pecan pancakes, sausage patties, eggs over easy, biscuit, supreme omelette with grits fully loaded ( bacon, smoked goods, chives). The food was very good! The biscuit was soo good I didn’t think it was GF! I didn’t get sick at all. They prepared my food separately, brought it out on its own tray, it was all marked. They guaranteed me the cooks changed their gloves. Want to come back next time I’m in town!

So good, I wish I would have had time to go back a second time. I had the The Floridian omelet with grits and it was amazing. My non celiac husband enjoyed his meal as well.

this place is so good!!! I went twice on my trip and got the regular gf pancakes and the gf lemon blueberry pancakes. the staff made sure it was made with the most caution and I had no reactions. I definitely recommend!

We went to the new location on Nine Mile. The staff were wonderful and very accommodating to GF. I had the omelette and I must say, the toast was actually delicious. Usually GF bread is not great but theirs was really good. The fruit was wonderful. I have a very odd but very serious allergy to cantaloupe of all things, the staff was great and no cantaloupe in sight!

They were all very aware of Celiac and super accommodating. The bourbon pancakes are absolutely amazing and do not taste gluten-free - but they are! Wonderful service and absolutely amazing food.

I had the traditional Platter, eggs bacon fruit and GF toast. It was delicious! There is a separate area for toasting the GF toast and pancakes. Waitress was very knowledgeable. Told me about cross contamination without me having to ask.

Awesome cafe! The restaurant is cute and they serve the best gluten free pancakes I've ever had! I've been multiple times and I haven't had a bad experience.

Best service I’ve had since my diagnosis! Great GF menu and great selection. Knowledgeable staff!! So impressed! Had the Lemon Blueberry Goat Cheese pancakes and they were fantastic. The server knew exactly what I needed when I told her I was GF due to CD. They brought my food out separate and they had gloves on.

YUM!! Wish we had seen on this app & eaten here sooner on our trip so we could make it back. They have a pretty big GF menu with plenty of breakfast (GF pancakes, omelets) and lunch type (sandwiches) foods. The GF pancakes are light & fluffy and everything this girl dreams of. This cafe is great! The wait is reasonable, with lots of benches outside to wait on (and coffee while you wait). They have a gluten free menu-- the kitchen is not entirely gluten free, so very serious celiacs might have problems. But they had delicious pancakes, and overall a great, welcoming staff and environment!

Came here for breakfast while in Pensacola for a wedding. I'm a very sensitive celiac and had no issues at the Nashville location over the summer, and this location didn't disappoint either! I had a chorizo omelette that was delicious, and they even gave me small gluten free pancakes as a side in place of toast (also delicious!). The staff was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. The waitress even knew enough to tell me that they fry their potatoes in the same oil as the beignets. I wish I had this restaurant in my hometown!

Ate here while on vacation in Navarre, FL. It was very delicious and any of their omelettes can be made gluten free. I had the Hey Ricky! Omelette and my husband tried the Floridian (gluten free so I could try it). Both were great! My plate accidentally came with their side of potatoes which are cross contaminated (my waitress told me), but my omelette was on a separate plate. And my waitress caught the potatoes before I noticed it! She was great, took the potatoes away right away and gave me fruit instead. I enjoyed eating there so much that 3 days later we found another location while traveling home and enjoyed another brunch.

This is my favorite restaurant at Pensacola Beach. They have a great GF selection. I ate the Popeye which was scrambled egg, baked bacon, onion, spinach , and monteray jack cheese. The English muffin was substituted with mini GF pancakes, and the potatoes were substituted with a mixed fruit bowl. They have generous portions and are very reasonably priced. An award winning restaurant. They are exceptionally knowledgeable of celiacs needs.

They are quick to point out that cross contamination may exist so the GF menu is Gluten Friendly and not GFree. The gluten friendly menu is extensive with GF pancakes, omelettes and more. The pancakes are delicious but not on a dedicated griddle.
